Filling and perfect as is or in a burrito

This was my lunch for a long day of ice and rock climbing and I was incredibly satisfied. Whether you want to add this to a tortilla and make a burrito or eat as is you'll be satisfied and happy!

Really good!

Re-hydrated well, tasted great. This is defiantly in the rotation of backpacking meals from now on.

Really, really good!

Of all the meals we took on our last camping trip this was our favorite. We were camping in northern Wisconsin and found that adding a bit more water, maybe ⅛ of a cup, and letting it sit an extra minute helped the beans rehydrate better. It also had just the right amount of spice.

Good Stuff

Very good meal, my teenager who doesn't do spicy nearly ate the whole thing. Also, cooks in 9 minutes, which is relatively quick, and the ingredients list is short and everything's pronounceable.

Another good one

Pretty good! Kind of reminded me of enchiladas without the tortillas or pile of cheese melted on top. Flavor is plenty present and no gripes with this one. I'd probably get this one again

Yum

This was probably the best trail meal in a bag I have eaten. Would gladly purchase again.

Pleasantly surprised.

I had my doubts about this when I bought it but wanted to try a wider variety of MH meals. After I opened the pouch I did the obligatory "sniff test" and it smelled amazing so was hoping that it tasted as good. Well it did and I will be stocking up on this for future use. Make sure you stir it well and then stir it again in five minutes like the instructions say and be patient and let it "cook". Another hint - if you have some tortillas this makes a nice burrito filler.

Flavor with a slight kick!

Excellent flavor with a bit of kick (from someone who usually isn't into spicy foods). Rehydrated great!

Tastes good and fills you up

This was very filling and tasted good. I added some of my own seasoning to boost up the flavor a bit
