Nice chalk pot
This is a solid bouldering chalk bag that holds enough chalk and packs down small. The magnetic closure system is nice and particularly useful for preventing spillage when the bag is tossed or gets knocked over. It's also an attractive option with clean lines and a matching aesthetic to other Petzl bouldering products. The base is a little small, which makes it tippy, but I haven't tossed any chalk due to the sound closure system - even if it was just closed via magnets and not rolled down. The storage pouches are also on the smaller side, but large enough to fit some essentials like tape, nail clippers, and a file. I could not fit my phone (iPhone 12) in either pouch, though I don't think I would want to. Overall, I would recommend this product to any boulderer for indoor or outdoor climbing.
Best chalk bag for your buck
Im really glad i pulled the trigger on this my friend had one and the magnetic closure is so easy to open but yet it holds the chalk so well, I’ve had other chalk bags with the velcro and they are such a hassle to deal with. Being able to roll it up and put away or carry it is so convenient
love this chalk bag
great chalk bag, very roomy and i love the zippered pockets to keep my phone with me at the gym. closes tightly enough so I no longer have to put my chalk bag in another plastic bag to keep it from spilling in my backpack.
Could have been amazing. Product falls short
Overall nice design and great materials. The metal outer buckle and the pull tabs are a great touch. I don’t like the placement of the magnets or the amount of magnets for the closure. When they are clasped closed, there is an obvious gap on both ends which spills chalk if it’s tipped over. Bought this because the Black Diamond mondo bag I had used inferior materials. This is essentially a better version minus the magnet clasp situation .

I'm not sure that the magnetic closure helps here - sometimes the bag will snap closed when you don't want it to, and it doesn't make it any more leakproof than the roll-top alone does. That being said it's a nice size, the construction is great, and having a couple of pockets and loops is always really nice. This will absolutely be in regular rotation at gym and crag.
Works great!
Nice bucket shape for holding chalk, the magnets at the opening are a nice touch, they make it easy to quickly throw the bag back on the mat when you’re done chalking up. The side pockets are big enough for a whole role of tape, small tube of liquid chalk, and other small things.
Perfect For Bouldering Trips!
This bag has been a great addition to our bouldering trips. It is extremely easy to use and it’s magnetic closure system makes it simple to prevent chalk from spilling out of the bag when we aren’t climbing. The external pockets on the bag make it easy to store our brushes as well. I highly recommend this product to people looking for an easy to use bag to add to their climbing excursions.

I’m so happy with this purchase. The last bag I had, had a magnetic clasp. This one not only has a magnetic clasp, but I’m also able to roll and clip it shut for no-mess storage. It’s very well made and the pocket on the outside is pretty spacious
