Collapsable Comfort

This is the perfect camping chair to relax after a day of adventure! It is easy to set up, and sets the bar for comfort. I was amazed at how smooth it rocked back but yet also extremely stable. I never felt worried I was going to tip over, unlike your typical fold up camping chair. This works for tall guys too; my husband at 6'7" also found it very supportive. I love the deep cup holder, it is the perfect place to hold a frosty beverage while leaning back to look at the stars, gaze into the campfire, or even just enjoy my backyard. The pocket on the side was great for holding my phone, or my bird identification book. We all have our new self isolation hobbies right? It is lightweight, easy to carry around and store. The carry strap is a big enough to wrap around the shoulders but not so large as to get in the way, and the loop strap keeps it secure from unfolding. I can take it anywhere - and I probably will ;)

Don’t do it

Chair split down the middle when I sat on it. Owned it less than a year. REI then gave me static when I returned it. I didn’t abuse it, just used it as a chair outdoors. Very disappointed in both the chair and REI. Been a member for at least 10 years.

Great chair just needs more stitch reinforcement.

Chair is is pretty comfortable and packs up well. Three things I wish it had. 1. Bigger cup holders on both sides 2. Needs a way bigger side pocket. 3. Reinforced stitching on areas with high weight load. My hand rest area has already ripped.

Poor Longevity

Ok chair. Lasted one year and 3 months before it broke. Bolts and pins started breaking and the fabric around the arms started tearing. Not very durable considering my $10 walmart camping chairs have gone decades without this type of poor quality. I expect more from a $60+ chair.

Binding fabric and strap are falling apart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 Kickback Rockers 3 years ago, and have used them so lightly was astonished to see the condition of the binding on the edges of the armrests on one of the chairs. Completely frayed and soon the fabric will just fall off the armrest. The strap also frayed and broke off a day ago. Really?? Not like we camp much (twice in 3 years) or use these except for extra seating at our home during a couple months of the year at a picnic. We live in a winter climate so mostly these chairs are stored in their bags, lying down (not hung by the strap) and unused for 8-9 months of the year. So, these chairs have inferior materials and I am writing this review to let potential buyers know to beware! Yes, they are comfortable but self destruct due to workmanship and materials. Big disappointment. Never again.

Chairs are awesome! Only downside was the packaging. I’ve enclosed photos so Rei is aware of it. Luckily nothing was damaged.

No durability

Great chair, had 2, both broke in under a year. Not durable at all but comfy for a short period of time. Will never buy again, it just keeps breaking (I’m 180 lbs). Bad product.

Could be better

We like sitting in these chairs a lot, but with relatively low mileage, the arms on one of them are fraying and one arm has ripped and detached. We wish we could replace the arm part. It should have lasted longer, it seems. We hope you have plans to improve your material quality, so we could buy more of these chairs, but right now, we’d be hesitant.

Disappointed in the quality

We were excited about the chairs when get them. We’ve used them 10 or 12 times and the ending is shredding. I’ve attached photos. The chair is comfortable and the rocking feature is nice but if the fabric falls apart it doesn’t do me much good. I’ll try another brand left time.
