Convenient footprint

Lightweight and can stay attached to bottom of the tent making less work for setup and takedown.

Better than a hole in your tent floor

Kind of expensive for what it is, but it's only a half ounce heavier than a sheet of Tyvek cloth about the same size. Good for saving wear and tear if you plan to use this tent in situations where ounces don't matter quite so much.

Good so far

The footprint has worked well, so far. Neither the tent nor the footprint ripped over a weeklong backpacking excursion that included a number of nights on rocky ground
