Not just for Lima!
Back in May, I started looking for a cross body purse - for every day use - and our family's upcoming trip to Peru (including Lima:)). This purse came up in my searches, but I wanted to see it/feel it. At an REI store, I got that chance - It's PERFECT! The fabric is sturdy and lightweight (with a touch of padding). The purse is low profile - even after filling with toilet paper, phone, 4 passports, wallet, chapstick (and who knows what else). The shoulder strap is smooth - even on bare skin. I LOVED the clip inside the bag - easy way to keep track of the keys from the Airbnb places we stayed. I used the non zippered pocket on the back side to hold my phone when we weren't in a big crowd - made it easy to take a quick picture. If it was crowded, I'd put it in the main zippered part. Overall - I LOVE this purse! Thankfully I never have to look for one again!

Great bag until it fails
I love it, it is roomy enough, practical... but the handle on the side broke pretty much after 2 months of usage (the first one) and now the other one (1,5 months after the 1. one). The bag wasn´t too heavy, nor was I doing anything specially harsh with it. It just broke. Twice in such a short time with no reasons means only one thing: poorly made. I still recommend it because I love everything else. I will fix it again and hopefully that's it.

almost perfect

I was so happy to find a stylish, durable purse designed for travel. I really love it in every way except one crucial problem that I have yet to find a solution to: One side of the strap is fixed to the purse, and the other slides through a loop. When the purse has more than a couple items in it, the weight means that the strap slides, causing the purse to bunch in the middle (shortening the distance between the strap connectors). Not attractive and also not comfortable to wear. I'm hoping to take the purse to a seamstress to get industrial stitching to hold both sides of the strap in the same position. I hope Sherpani fixes this for its next version.

This is great for those of us that refuse a purse

I absolutely hate to carry a ‘purse.’ Who wants to be a fashionista? This is great. It carries easily, has multiple slot pockets to hold my wallet, swiss Army knife, reading glasses, etc. It doesn’t show dirt and has zip pockets in all the right places. Highly recommended.

Love the deep pockets!

I had purchased the predecessor to this bag and absolutely loved it and used it daily for 6 years...until the zipper broke :( This meant that I had to find something just as good to take its place, and I did with this Sherpani bag!! It is a bit deeper in the main pocket which fits my IPad mini even better than the previous bag. It is small yet feels bigger because it has enough room to fit all of my essentials! And it is RFID protected!! LOVE Sherpani!!

Strap busted in a week

I loved the look and feel, but the strap broke off after a week of use. Wish it had better construction.

Great bag!

I absolutely love this bag. It looks great, is streamline, and made well. It takes me everywhere I need to go. Great choice for the person on the move!

The Best London Bag

This is the best bag I have owned. Plenty of pockets to keep things separate for easy access. Secure. Lightweight. Love the criss cross body strap for security. Holds glasses, wallet, cards, maps, tickets, etc, but not a thick paperback book, and not a jacket. Love this for all day trips walking and on the tube in London.

Great travel bag

I bought this bag specifically to use on a trip to New Orleans right before Mardi Gras. I wanted something easy to carry, big enough to hold everyday travel essentials (sunglasses, suncreen, hand sanitizer, wallet, etc) and pockets that are easily accessible for me but not to a pickpocket. This bag worked wonderfully!

Secure For Travel

Good security features. Obvious high quality material and workmanship. In my opinion it could be improved if the shoulder/cross-body strap were centred rather than attached on one side. And, if that little loop on top were larger like a handle to carry the bag. Still, really functional for casual use.
