Great Hat
Do I own a $400 puffy? No. Do I own a $39 hat? Yes. I bought this to look like a “Patagonia Dad” without having to fully commit. It’s fairly light although not considered “breathable material”, fits great, perfectly bent brim, and I can blend in with everyone at the breweries in Bend OR. I will be adventuring hard in this hat over the summer and hopefully be taking it on several backpacking trips. I went to a Patagonia store and they didn’t even have this hat there, REI is where it’s at 10/10 would recommend you buy this hat from them if you want your social media profile pic to make you look like you live “vanlife” or like you downhill ski or whatever. Anyways go buy this hat ya Patagonia clones!

Fades so quick
After a couple times in the sun, this hat is a faded black orange color. Doesn't look nice.

Works great

Had this hat for years in black colored variant. Was given to me by a coworker. I’ve always worn hats. I’m a hat guy. This hat is well constructed. Yes it fades. I have bleach stains and paint and primer on it. I’ve washed it countless times. Easy to bend the bill back to desired shape. Material has been holding up well. Don’t care for the branding and I don’t own any other Patagonia products. Not sure I’d spend $40 on a hat not made in a local U.S. sweatshop but this hat has me teetering on the edge of biting the bullet if it ever does fall apart. I do enjoy the extra detail on the back tensioner clip shape and the quality of the stitch work is top tier.

Buy one

A righteous purchase. Expensive perhaps, but I'm good with the Patagonia corporate philosophy and am willing to spring for the extra $ for what they do.

Black color faded so fast

Bought a light tan one of these years ago and became one of my favorite hats. They unfortunately dont sell that color anymore and after years of use out backpacking and it had weathered and needed a new one. I bought a black one and again was my favorite hat…for a couple months. After washing it and using it on a few trips, it turned a really weird orangish-brownish-black. Super disappointing. 😔

Highly Reliable Hat

My 3rd time buying this hat because I love it so much. My previous one got worn out and my other one I lost sadly. But you can’t beat the fit of this hat, it doesn’t touch the ears and it’s very stylish. If you want a hat that’s on the go, grab this one. Or maybe don’t, that way I can buy more. :D

Nice Hat

Nice quality hat but a little overpriced. If they were half the price I’d buy every color.
