Smooth magic
This is my favorite carbon handlebar by far (I also own enve and chromag bars). The OneUp dampens vibrations really well - makes your mtb experience more comfortable for sure. Also gives you a really solid feel and control on descents and turns. This would be my go-to on any mtb handlebar upgrade - esp noticeable if you're coming from alloy bars. Note you'll need a 35mm-compatible stem. Will be another piece you need if coming from a 31.8mm bar. Don't worry about 35mm being too stiff - it's not at all. I also bought a OneUp stem (which is a good-looking basic no-gap stem), but most any 35mm (bar diameter) stem will work.
No More Arm Pump Or Numb Hands
I have used many other brands of mountain bike bars. With other bars I have had numb hands and arm pump. I even tried changing grips. I have done 10 or so rides on these bars and have not had numb hands or arm pump! They definitely soak up a lot more of the vibration. More compliant but still retains snappy steering. I am impressed so far.
Amazing!
I am sold on these bars. On rough long descents, I would always get hand and arm pump. Since switching to these bars, that has completely gone away since the first ride with them. The hype is real and I want them on all of my bikes now. I never knew that changing bars would be the best upgrade that I would do on a bike!
Serious Upgrade.
Picked these up on a whim while they were on sale. The stock bars on my Tallboy 4 are the first 35mm diameter bars I've ridden - and while I don't suffer too much discomfort while riding, I suspected they might offer a small improvement. Super happy I did as these are in fact a pretty big upgrade in terms of comfort. While my regular trails aren't all rock gardens, there is a fair amount of high speed chatter that is now filtered out and damped to a degree that I'm automatically relaxing my grip. Hands feel fresh after longer rides but somehow steering input feels as stiff and direct as ever (I don't detect any flex otherwise - maybe you would if you regularly huck to flat?). On top of that they are lightweight, the shape/sweep of these seems to work really well and they are an understated, handsome bit of kit.
Nice bars best price I've seen
Nice bars I feel Confident with these bars more so than other brands because of the oval design at the bend.
