Yellow is see through
I got the yellow and I think I am going to return it. It's too see through for my taste- I want to be able to wear it outdoors in the city. Overall I like the cut and the look of this top- I want to try one of the darker colors to see if it's less see through.

Not impressed
The fabric is somewhat thin yet stiff and the fabric in the armpit sticks out which looks really strange. Definitely returning.

too large up top

I wanted to love this because the color and fabric are awesome. While it fits great through the waist and hips the top is very generous to the point where the side seams are sticking out an inch from my armpit on either side. It might fit well if wore a normal bra with molded cups but I normally wear a compressive sports bra for hiking so I don’t need all that extra room in the bust in my hiking tops.

Weird fitting armpit

I wanted to like this tank. I love tanks and I love this color. The fabric was exceptional and just what you expect from Patagonia. But the armpit area on this shirt was just weird. Super big and baggy. I have a large chest at 36DDD so it wasn’t that. Honestly it fit everywhere else but it was such an odd fit I returned. I only thought to write this review because others should be warned.

Loved the previous version; new cut doesn't work

I have several of the previous version of this tank top, and I love them. I decided to order a new one because I like the new colors, but when it arrived, I realized that they've significantly updated the cut and fit of the tank. Unfortunately, this no longer fits me at all (the arms holes are huge, the straps are way too long, but the torso is too tight). Thank you outdoor industry, for continuing to design clothes that fit only for the extremely tall and thin :( Returning it, super bummed!

Not Nearly As Good As the Old Version

I loved the old versions of this tank top, but when I went to buy more I found a cheap replacement! The fabric is so thin it's see through and I can't imagine it will hold up long before ending up with holes. I wish they'd kept it as it was! I will be returning the one I bought!

good tank

This shirt did what I needed it to on my recent 10 day backpacking trip. It was was of three tanks that I rotated and it didn't get smelly or stretch out. I got an xs and it could have been slightly smaller on me to have fit better but it was fine. I'm 5'1", petite, and curvy and I would get more of this type based on its fast wicking/drying fabric and the lack of sweat smell after hard use.

Nope - changed the design and material

Super disappointed in this tank - thought it would be similar to the tank I purchased two years ago - with the same exact name - "Capilene Cool Trail Tank Top" but it's a different and clingy material, which also doesn't seem to have the wicking feature that the original tank has. Bummed I didn't buy a few back when it was a better product. Sending back.

Great fit!

I only wish REI had more colors in stock. This tank top has a great fit - good drape hide my quarantine 15 - and is cool for hot summer days. I do think it runs big. I am ~135 and 5’5” athletic and got an XS. It fits snug but isn’t tight, which is the way I like it.

Skip this one

I was so excited to splurge on a premium tank for summer. When it first arrived I noticed how scratchy and thin the fabric was. I tried it on and was completely shocked to find this tank is see through. Not just a nude bra will fix it see through - this is inappropriate to wear out with my kids see through. On top of that the arm holes are cut incredibly awkward and stick out in triangles under your arm pits. Save yourself some hassle and skip this shirt. My cheapie tshirts are way softer and don’t show my bra.
