Best water shoes!
Ive worn these over a year and adore them. These are the best shoes to keep debris out of your shoe when in the water. Their grippy soles allow for traction on the SUP, river bottom, or climbing on rocks waterside. I wear them in the lake, tubing, kayaking, SUP, and short walks involving creek crossings. The arch support is minimal so I don't advise for hiking, but if you're adventure is mostly paddling or floating with some shore exploration these are amazing. No rocks seeping into your shoe like water sandals! No wear woth extensive use. They take a bit to dry, but they're comfortable wearing wet. I did replace the laced with hands elastic laces & hands free lace system (like triathletes use) because the laces they come with are difficult to use when wet. With the replaced lace system these slip on and off easily wet and dry. Replace your keen sandals with these babies! I'm buying them for all my adventuring buddies.

Runs super small
This shoe seems very nice, but the opening to insert your foot is a continuous, non-elastic hole that on a size 8 shoe is too small for a normal 8 size hoof. Maybe my foot fits the shoe once its inside, but it will never get through this hole. I wouldn't recommend these shoes unless you can try them on in person, though who knows when that will be since REI isn't sharing a timeline for when they plan to open up in store activities again. also, the color is more a dark blue grey than the white/light grey depicted. Overall, a very disappointing product.

Cute but tight.

After reading other reviews about the shoes being too tight I didn't think that would be a problem for me as I'm a size 8 with a narrow foot. However, I would agree they opening for your foot is super tight. You have to slide your foot all the way in and then use the loop on the back to pull out the half of the shoe you on standing on to go around your heel. Once on the fit is great for a water shoe. Snug enough that there can't be excess water or feel like it is hanging off. The grip on the bottom is great. Ultimately I've kept them as they are a great look and price (got on sale!) but wide foot people beware.

Love them!

I love these shoes. I use them on a boat, water activities and really just everywhere and they are super comfy. I'm a size 11, narrow-ish feet and they are perfect. I've even taken them on light hikes on rocks to beaches and they do the trick too! A friend who is also 11 but feet on the wide side tried them on and couldn't get them on due to the entrance of the shoe. It's a snug fit on me but really makes it more comfortable as I don't neet to lace them up super tight. They come with another pair of laces color pale pink and they look very feminine and cute!

Stylish and comfy, difficult to put on & not grey!

I agree with other reviewers, these shoes are definitely not the grey shown in the picture, much more of a blue/grey. I wore these for a trip to Hawaii and they worked wonderfully for traction in rocky waterfall swimming pools. They’re comfy though not sure I’d exactly hike in them. They are very difficult to get on when feet are already damp, even somewhat difficult when feet are dry. I also love the style of them, love that I could wear them with a casual outfit. Would recommend these and would buy them again.

Love them!

I found these to run true to size (size 8 for me). There is no moveable tongue so they go on like watershoes ... a little tight getting on, but feel very comfortable once on. I absolutely love them for what I wanted -- shoes that easily go in and out of the water for boating, kayaking, tubing.

Fantastic water shoes

I recently used these shoes while canoeing and portaging in the Boundary Water Canoe Area. I was blown away by the performance of these shoes. Not only did the shoes fit and feel well, the grip over rocks on land and water were fantastic. The shoes drain well and felt comfortable wet or dry.

perfect camp shoe

Taken these on a handful of backpacking trips now, and I’m in love. Great traction on water crossings. Light weight. Quick draining. Very happy to have found a great camp shoe. Sizing seems true to maybe a smidge large and definitely wide. They will stretch a little over time as well.

Great Shoe, Size Up

This is a great water shoe, but offers very little give so suggest sizing up a half size. Brought these shoes to BWCA but only wore once because they were a nightmare to but on/take off a wet foot.

Color is off

These are not as comfortable as a previous version of this shoe I purchased. Also, the color is off. Instead of genuine gray, the color has a blue tint to it. I already have blue Astrals. I wanted gray.
