REI Co-op  Multi Towel Lite - Extra Large

This towel is can be used for drying off after a shower or can be used to dry dishes when camping. I wish it was a little wider. While it is big enough to use to dry off after showering, it is not big enough to wrap around your body. I haven’t used it yet, so I don’t know how absorbent it is, but it is microfiber so it has some absorbency I imagine. It is very compact and it has a nice nylon carry case that can be snapped shut.

The towel is soft and packable, great for backpack camping. But....Make sure you wash it separately. It stained my wash tub, the blue color does not appear to be coming off, ever. I have only washed it once, we shall see if this happens each time it gets washed.

Very small profile so doesn’t take up precious room in luggage. Dries super fast so no wet stench. Another good use would be for camping. I’d definitely recommend this to friends and family.

I have had this towel since 2010, and have taken it on many international trips. It is light, dries quickly, and is large enough for my body. I love it! The clip for the hanging hook finally broke a couple of years back though, but I just hang it like a normal towel now.

I really love this towel! It’s so easy to use and dries very quickly. Never smells (and I’ve used it a lot). The only issue I have is that when you do wash it, the color comes out. So I only had wash it with Castile soap. I wouldn’t recommend putting this in the washer or dryer. I still recommend purchasing this because I love the size of it and the quality.

Bought this four years ago and thousands of washes later, still in use daily, backpacking or traveling. Buying more to see if anything has changed. Thank you REI.

I bought this towel for my mother who, like many, hates that classic microfiber feel that so many towels have. She wanted something compact and light for our trip and this fit the bill perfectly. Boy am I jealous that I didn't get myself one too! It's super soft and thin, to the point that I was initially skeptical about how much water it would really absorb, but it was incredibly absorbent AND very quick to dry. The size of the Extra Large version is also perfect, and she was very happy with the amount of area it covered. It was a great purchase and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact, super-absorbent towel.

You experience a different feeling when drying your body with this towel then a cotton one, but it works great. The two most important issues is how small it will pack and how fast and easy it drys.

Good while it lasted. I had another, smaller towel of made of similar material before I bought this one (several camping buddies swear by theirs, so I was convinced). While I realize this towel is not an oven mitt, I had no issues using my older towel to pick up the stainless steel handle of my Coleman cookware camping cup after boiling water, etc. I tried the same thing with this towel and melted a large hole through 4 layers of the towel folded over on itself. It was like a hot knife through butter. I'm pretty bummed. I was looking forward to getting several years out of this towel and instead I melted it on its first backpacking trip literally the day after buying it.

I bought three of them for a trip... wow they really do absorb. I loved that they don't take much room in my bag and they dry fast!
