Great little item!!

Ok, it was an impulse buy, but it has turned out to be surprisingly useful. I attached on to the water bottle I keep bedside and it helps when I wake in the night needing a sip of water, especially when I knock the bottle off the nightstand. I also drop one in a shot glass I keep on the nightstand with meds I might need in the night. I use a small UV led flashlight to charge them up for maybe a minute or two and get sufficient glow all night to locate my water and my pill.

Barely glows. You would have to leave it in the sun for hours to make a difference. Not worth the money.

Life saver in a dark tent!

I love these little gear tags - they're light, pretty cheap, and are life savers in dark spaces. I have clipped to the band of each of my headlamps, and they make my headlamps super easy to find in the dark - no more pawing through all the stuff in your tent to find your headlamp. They glow all the way through the night and they're bright enough to easily see in a dark space. They're small enough that you don't even notice them while you're wearing the lamp. The only thing I wish were different would be the clip - these come with a few different attachments for connecting them to various pieces of gear and the clip just presses into the end of it, so it could potentially come apart from the clip. I've never had this happen and they're only $6 so it wouldn't be a huge deal if I did lose one, but a built in clip would be nice.

Love it. Saved me.

It works great and as intended. Saved me a few times when I dropped my keys. These other whiny people need to get their eyes checked!

Neat little glow in the dark marker

I use this product as a gear-tag for the cae which holds my in-flight headsets. Trying to find that matt black case on long distance flights in the dark, I was always fumbling around. With the Gear Aid glow marker, it really helps find things at night. The glow is not very powerful, and does not last too long (around 2 hours at high glow, and 10hrs at low glow); but that's enough to just find it.

Nice for camping and for pets

Great for marking bags and tents! Also use it occasionally for my dog at night so she doesn't get too far away from camp. It has strontium oxide inside the capsule which is dangerous to breathe in, so just make sure your dog isn't likely to chew something around their collar. It needs to be out in the sun for an entire day to hold a glow for 10 hours. The "10 min" charge time will only last a short time. Did last all night last camp!

Keeps on glowing’

I purchased the blue and green versions and they both start out strong. But, after a couple of weeks the green one continues to perform well we’re the blue one is at about a 75% glow loss and duration. So, go with the green one for a longer lasting glow.

Great Glow Matker

Good glow marker for keeping track of keys. My son loves his for keeping track of his house keys when he gets back from grade school. Even in daylight the bright fluorescent colors make it easy to find.

Not bright.

Even though we left these in direct sunlight for an entire day, you could barely see them on the tent we attached them to. Just to small to be seen from any distance more than a foot or so.

Great at night in the bedroom.

I bought the green/yellow one. It charges quickly and glows all night. I try to keep my bedroom very dark and use it near the light switch for when I need to get up in the night. I don't have to fumble around trying to locate the light. Really like it and am going to purchase a couple more.

Never loose my keys again

This was a great impulse buy. I have it attached to my key ring and I can always spot them in a dark bag or a dark room, even it it hasn't been exposed to more than indirect light for a few minutes. The green color is highly visible. I could also see myself putting this on my scuba gear for night dives, or general 'need-to-spot-it-in-the-dark' outdoor gear uses.
