The pants fit well, look nice, seem durable. However, the close clasp/snap does not stay closed even under light pressure such as sitting down. The first day I got the pants, I wore them out of package and left the house for a volunteer shift at local animal shelter , and the clasp popped open constantly all day, super annoying. I wear my pants loose, and liked the look of these, so I reordered a second pair, same size and color. The second pair clasp did exactly the same thing, won't stay closed. A design flaw it would appear. Also, the pockets are good as far as women's pants typically go, but not great. My husband has the exact same pants in the men's version, but his pockets are large enough to actually fit stuff larger than a deck of cards. He can put his cell phone in the leg pocket for example with room to spare, but the women's pant pockets are too tight and small dimension wise for the same cell phone. I'm going to take them to a seamstress to get the clasp fixed because I do like them enough to keep them.
I have 4 pair of these because they fit well (other than hemming the pant legs), and have plenty of nicely placed pockets that lay smooth when empty. I would however prefer the zippered pockets be a little bigger to hold my cell phone. I wear these pants for travel because they resist wrinkling, dry quickly if washed, and can of course be worn as shorts. I also wear them to walk because sometimes I wear a knee brace and it fits under thèse pants. The button/snap works fine but my pants are not as tight on me as the pants on the model. I am 5'3.5" and weigh 105, with proportionately larger hips, and I like the way the size 4 fits. There is a place to tuck the zipper pulls inside. I wish thèse pants came in morte colors.
These pants are wonderful in every aspect EXCEPT the button snap closure. It comes undone if you make any movement whatsoever. Normally I adore Kuhl pants, I wear them most days. But not this particular issue. Every other aspect of these pants are wonderful. I love the fabric, it’s light and cool. I love the drawstring, These pants look amazing, but for the button snap they would be perfect.
NO problems. They are my favorite pair of pants. Would love other colors like dark chile or dark plum
