Narrow toe box
I don’t understand who would design a winter boot with such a narrow toe box. (My feet are not especially weird or wide) The fit is like whoever designed this boot never put it on or ignored any feedback from those who did. Even sizing up it’s wide around the ankle and hard to tighten enough to feel secure but the toes are squished. Even looking down at the boots when they’re on it looks odd. When it’s cold and I’m walking in tough conditions I want to be able to wiggle my toes and make sure they are getting good circulation. I can’t even do that in my living room. Sad. I really wanted to love these. Two stars because they’re cute and the inserts feel nice if they were wider at the toe.
Not that great for extended outdoor wear
I bought these boots late last winter hoping to find a boot that will keep my feet warm. They were "OK", but when I started wearing them again in the last couple of days for work, my toes got quite cold in -14C (I'm a postal worker, so spend hours outside in easily -30C or colder). I realized that the rubber toe was getting a coating of frost on the inside, thereby making the liner wet, and then my toes would get damp and cold. I'm assuming that the cold on the rubber from outside and the heat from my toes are the cause for the condensation. Needless to say, I can't wear these boots for work, though they would be OK for casual winter wear. I ended up buying totally different boots last night, recommended by other postal workers - and for the first time in my life, my feet stayed warm being outside for about 4 hours straight in -16C today.
I LOVE these boots!!!
These boots are exactly what I was looking for. I normally wear a 9, but I went up to a 10 in these-and then I added a supportive insole, because the interior of these is super soft. The end result is for me perfection. I got them to wear at the barn in winter on those super cold days. I was tired of having cold feet. Now, I'm cozy. They are super easy to get in and off and comfortable and I love the fur at the top. A win. And it's cool that the liners are able to come out in case you need them to.
SIZE RUNS SMALL.
THIS BOOT RUNS REALLY SMALL. I wear a size 9. Based on the reviews, I ordered a size 10. The size 10 was too small. The boot was nice but sent it back because it didn't fit. The size 10 was so small, I don't think the size 11 will fit either.
Size runs small but they seem warm
My boots arrive today and so this is more about how they feel and how they look and not really review around their durability at this point. These boots feel really warm and they look great. Unfortunately, I will need to return or exchange these because, while I ordered a size 8, they are still feeling incredibly tight. Knowing that winter boots do better with a little bit of air and thicker socks, I rounded up on size (generously I thought) but these feel uncomfortably snug in the toes and front foot.
Great boots! Just what I needed!
So very warm!! And I always have cold feet!! Comfortable. Good traction. Flexible enough base for hiking. And snowshoeing! I have a narrow foot so need to adjust laces very tight and maybe wear heavier socks.
Warm, cozy, and durable boot! Highly recommend
These boots are fantastic. I was in the market for a good snow boot after my 3-year old Sorrels needed replacing. I did a lot of research in the hopes of finding a boot that would be warm, waterproof, and long-lasting. These did not disappoint! They have kept me cozy in the sub-zero temperatures of Maine winters, including for entire days spent snowmobiling. Highly recommend, they are worth the price.
Best winter boots!
These boots are the most comfortable, warm, and dry boots that I've (59 F, size 8) ever owned. I have large calves and so many taller boots are hard to get on and/or uncomfortable to wear. These not only slip on easily, but the lacing system allows for custom adjustment all along the calf. If you are heading out into snowy and/or wet winter weather, get these boots. You won't be disappointed!
Narrow Fit
Love the look of these boots but the fit in the toe box is extremely narrow even in the larger size wearing only a thin nylon sock.
