Compared to other FJ trousers like the Vidda or Keb, the Greenland jeans are very simplistic, but just as fuctional. The G-1000’s claim to be one of the toughest outdoor materials is pretty solid. I had a pair of trousers (Barents pro, also G-1000) for work and had to work with chicken wire. What should’ve torn other pants to pieces put minor scuffs in the fabric. Truly happy with the trousers on that end. Worth the price. The greenland jeans give you the style you didn’t know you needed... and they’re super comfortable. The pants break the wind amazingly on cold days, I usually have to wear long johns under my pants in the winter but not with these!

I love these jeans - the fit is amazing and they are wearing like iron but feel great. I will not wear blue jeans anymore at all. I also like the fact that the pocket sits right at the bottom of your thigh so there is room for your wallet but it does not stick out

Love the G1000 fabric and that it's in a pant that's not so 'aggressive'. These fit me just right with the perfect taper. Great for a night out but durable enough for camping.

Loved these pants initially. Got the size 46 and they fit me perfectly. After wearing them sporadically over the course of a few weeks, the waistband stretched out so much - seemingly permanently - that I can basically fit my entire arm into the waistband along with my own waist. It's like the waist stretched out by 2 - 2.5 inches. I've only washed according to instructions, and the rest of the garment fits the same as when I received it. I'm now considering putting them in the dryer briefly to try to force shrink them back to the initial waist size. Really disappointing because they were so expensive and fit so well at first. I love Fjallraven products and have been a long time customer, but this purchase really backfired on me.

I’m giving 5 stars, even though an inner elastic pouch within the large flap pocket would be a nice touch. I work in the woods as a forester and I own four pair of these pants. These pants have such great versatility for when I am in the office and need to look “presentable”, and then have to head out to the field and trudge through the woods. They are surprisingly durable and do their best keeping you comfortable in most temperatures. To provide a measurable, Fjallraven Nils trouser is a tougher trouser in the woods vs. GJ, but then is a bit on the warm side during summer months. GJ seems to adequately sit in that unique spot of being nice looking, lightweight, yet definitely punches above its weight class in durability given the lightweight.

Got these like a month ago or so and wear them more than any other pants I own. Light, comfortable, sturdy, good with wind and they’ve got a handy thigh pocket. The only thing I didn’t like about them is the fifth pocket inside the right hand pocket. It had a large wide mouth on the inside, and being right handed I always put my phone in my right pocket, it was a chore putting my phone away. So I took the pocket out. Now I have no complaints!

I've been wearing the Greenland jeans in various iterations over the past 10 years. They are my favorite pants and I would wear them exclusively if they came in more colors so I could have more pairs. These pants last forever and the only reason I bought new ones this year was due to putting on a little weight and needing a bigger size. I did wear 44 and now I'm a 46 at 5'7" and 155 lbs. These are my most comfortable pants.

If you have any amount of thigh meat and you want to lift your leg higher than 9 inches off the ground, these aren't the pants for you. Ironically, these pants are still too large in the waist despite being my normal size. I have an older model that I love and fit perfectly. I was hoping to reproduce that pair with these but to no success.

Kinda surprised how light and thin these are. They are rugged, but the fabric’s tight weave doesn’t break in like jeans do. They also get dirty easier but they do wash out easier. Idk. I should have read more about them before I bought them. I was just looking for some jeans and these looked nice.

Literally the best pant I've ever own, I particularly love the fit of these. almost a straight leg but with the perfect taper. I have been asking on social media and written emails to get these produced in Black, because that would make these the ultimate daily driver.
