I wanted to order this -- but as with SO many winter shirts, the back neckline is way too low! With shirts cut like this, I end up wearing a scarf indoors just to keep my neck warm. Why is it so hard to create a higher neckline for a warm neck?

Love the shirt but the quality is disappointing

I loved the feel and look of this shirt so much that I bought a second one. Unfortunately, in less than a month and a half, the hem at the bottom is unraveling. What a shame!

poor fit, boxy and short

Love the color of this shirt - and the fabric is nice - however, it shrunk and became a boxy crop top immediately when I washed it (I followed the directions). I even then tried to dry it on high heat to get it to shrink more proportionately so it wasn't so boxy, but that did not work. I was so disapointed that this became unwearable after I washed it.

Disappointed overall

I don't tend to review clothing, but believe I should let others interested in this sweater know of its poor quality. I washed just once and faded significantly (Topaz color). Collar edge curled and knitting pilled. I tried it on at the store so I bought the right size for me, but it fits oddly overall...worse after washing.

Great fit, poor quality

I loved the feel of this shirt. I washed it, wore it once, washed it again and realized one of the seams at the arm already failed. On the upside, it fit well and was comfortable and breathable.

Low quality, wore quickly, and bummed on purchase

Bought this for my wife as a gift, and within three months of light to minimal casual wear it looks like it's about 5 years old with abusive wear. It's pilled and my wife has worn through the elbows. I would expect higher quality from a brand like TNF...just totally bummed on purchase.

Great fit

This is a great, comfy basic shirt. I am 5'4, 140 lbs, 36 DD and ordered the medium size and it fits great. Perfect alone or in layers over a long sleeved tee or a vest.

Disappointed

Loved the color and feel of the fabric, until I washed it! The sleeves shrunk to the point I couldn’t get them past my wrists. This is the only North Face Product I have ever had a problem with.

Warmth and comfort!

I love this shirt! It is very warm and so comfortable. Thinking about getting it in the ivory color as well, I bought the light blue. The sizing is spot on and true North Face quality!

good puffy layer

Great layer but a little bulky. I most often wear this when it's warm enough to wear on its own, sometimes under a jacket. I did prefer it during subzero temperatures on a recent ski trip and have also worn it with a wool camisole underneath. This is also a great pajama shirt or wear around the apartment building shirt.
