Skip these and buy previous Pro-X elbows

Punchline: Don't buy these new X2 pads, find the previous Pro-X elbows: they're better in every way! G-Form revisited their original Pro-X elbow design, but unfortunately they've dis-improved the fit and function of the product on all fronts: Exhibit A: They slide down. Shorter lycra sleeve causes pads slide down off your biceps. Don't be deceived by the studio photo: they've cut a full 2" off the upper cuff of the previous sleeve, and right at a time when most armor designers have figured out that maximizing chassis length is the key to pads that stay put while pedaling or in a crash. Exhibit B: Poor coverage. G-Form increased the thickness, but decreased the wrap-around coverage of the new X2 pad. The result: no coverage for bony protrusions on inside and outside of elbow. To make matters worse: this new pad shape causes the pad to rotate / slide out of the way upon impact. This means there will be nothing between you and the ground but lycra when you go down.

Seem to run small

I have a 14 inch bicep and selected the large size. They were extremely tight and cut off circulation. I will update my review after I get the larger size but G-form needs to better rate their sizes.

Good elbow protector

I am 5'10", 132 lbs and had to trade in XS for Small. Just what I needed to protect my elbow from the sharp AZ rocks and cacti.
