Probably fine for intended use
This thing is probably fine for its intended use, but I mistakenly thought it might be useful as a lightweight replacement for a nalgene. I returned it after I realized it’s 1) not easy to drink out of, and 2) has no way to attach it to anything else, like a loop or clip. Again, that’s my bad - that’s not really what it was intended for.

Works great

Worked great. Held a whole bottle of bourbon. Easy to clean. Way better than taking a whole glass bottle.

Bringing the fluids

Holds a whole bottle of wine. Top screws on securely. Bottle is tough. Doesn’t leak in my tightly packed backpack even after hiking 10 miles and 2,000 feet of elevation.

Tasteless-in a good way!

This lightweight, collapsible bottle does everything right: easy to carry, imparts no taste to the contents, easy to pack.

works every time

I cured 2 of these bad boys with whiskey before I used them. They’re a go too for every concert I attend.

Great product

I have been using the PlatyPreserve wine containers for over 5 yrs. for traveling and cruises. They are the best. Easy to use. Add a removable label to ID wine, varietal and date. After use, remove label, rinse three times with clean water to remove residue. When back in town, rinse and fill with warm water. Let sit one day, drain and refill. After three rinses, drain/shake out water residues, turn upside down and allow the container to air dry for a few days. They can be used up to about 10 times, even for bold red wines. Have also used for standard hard liquor (40%/80 proof), and worked effectively. Neither wine or alcohol show up on x-ray inspection units. Never. The recommendation to add a cap retraint for lid is a good one. Lids can get misplaced.

Does what it's supposed to do

I used this to hold leftover wine on a multi-day hike, and it performed like a champ, with no plastic taste. It weighs next to nothing when empty, and can be folded up into a small package. Good for water, too.

Works great.

Taste-free, as promised. Squeeze the air out, and the wine keeps forever.
