Fav running socks
These are my favorite socks for running or just putting on with any sneaker. They hug your feet and I really like the thin version for summer.
Cushions my feet in the right places
I love Balega socks and I'm not big on socks that are too thick, but I have problems with wearing holes in socks because I walk/hike/jog a lot.The Ultralight socks hug my feet in the right way that I've never gotten a blister wearing them, they have cushion in the places that matter, the heel and the ball of my foot as well as the back of the ankle, but also have thinner areas which seem to allow my feet to breath.
Love them!
These are one of the few socks that won’t eventually get eaten by my shoe. They stay in place! Love them. This particular sock is very thin. If you want or need more cushion get the thicker model.
Great socks
These stay put, have good cushioning, and they fit snug across the arch.

The socks are fantastic! Long lasting, comfortable, moisture wicking. I owned two pair and alternated between the two for more than a year and a half before wearing holes in them. My feet get sweaty-even in single digit temps. I hike and walk a lot. Hot spots were never a thought, feet dried and aired out nicely and I love that the top of the sock sits just at the top of my shoe. I’m buying more Balega now!
Good when you need no cushion
These socks are lightweight and stretchy, both good qualities. My feet swell quite a bit in hot weather, so their lack of thick cushioning is just what I need. I did find that they ran small, though. According to the size chart on the package, size small should have fit, but I had to exchange them for size medium. Thanks to REI's generous exchange policy, that was no problem.
Poor quality
Developed a hole in the heel on the second or third time that I wore them. At this price point, that shouldn't happen!
For real the best
When running, my feet get really sweaty and it's a problem because my feet rub on my shoes and it starts blistering. Not fun on a 50K. I bought these in store after seeing how cushiony but breathable the fabric was. Tried them out while running 10K on the treadmill and they were amazing. Buying like 42 more pairs.

I've worn these for running and other heavy workouts! Feel super comfortable and I know this brand lasts as I have a couple other similar pairs.
