Great idea but it leaks

I purchased this for work so I wouldn’t have to carry an ice chest and backpack. I did as the sales person instructed and cooled the cooler a few hours before use. Everything stayed cold (even in my hot mail truck) but it leaked. Everything I had stored in the top part was wet but thankfully nothing was ruined. Next day I put the ice in ziplock bags and it still leaked out the bottom. Love the idea of this backpack/cooler but I can’t have something that leaks on packages and mail

Best Beach Companion

I got this to use as a beach bag. I was able to put a 12er of drinks in the cooler and ice as advertised. On the top I had room for plenty of snacks, Bluetooth speaker, sunscreen, hat, and towel. In the two side pockets I was able to put my empty crushed cans, since the pockets are flexible. My cans stayed cold all day. I was surprised that it didn't leak on me at all walking around and throwing around the bag towards the end of the day when alot of the ice had melted. The next morning I pulled the cooler out to dump the remaining icy water. I'd recommend this bag to anyone in a hot climate. Also worth mentioning is how well padded the shoulder straps are as well as the back of the bag.

Great bag but the cooler leaks!

I used this as a tackle box. On the top section holds 4 of my tackle box organized compartments while below holds a cooler full of either beer or fish. I’m having problems with the cooler leaking and running down my legs Though otherwise it’d be a five star review. The bag itself though is pretty rad. If I’m going on a long fishing trip, I’ll remove the cooler and put more tackle in there. I also wish it had more armature on the top section. If it’s empty, it sags into nothing because of the thin external material- especially if anything is in the outer top pocket. I’ve had this thing for 6-8 months

Really great work bag

My husband got me this bag as a work bag. I work 12-hour shifts and bring my breakfast and lunch to work with me every day. The parking lot is a long walk from my work. I like this bag because I can carry in my food, water bottle, coffee mug, and wallet, etc., while having my hands remain free. Once I get in to work, it is easy to set it near my workstation and get things out of it as I need them. I wish I had gotten this bag sooner. It's way better than the over-the-shoulder reusable grocery bag and lunch bag combo I was using before.

Kept my fish cold

I bought this hoping to fit some more fish easily, on my return trip from AK. I was able to fit roughly 30 lbs of salmon fillets, frozen and vacuum packed. I put the cooler insert in the freezer for the day, and all of the fish inside a bag, in case of leaking. Did not leak BTW. All of my fish was frozen solid when I hit Reno, 16 hours later! The two at the very top were thawing a bit, but still mostly frozen. Oh, I was able to carry it on the plane too. It fits the specs for carryon luggage. Highly recommended.

Almost perfect cooler backpack

great idea with a few flaws. Cooler leaks. It's not very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Straps are thin, and the design of the bag itself does not sit well on your back. The two-zipper combo to access the cooler needs a new design. Not sure how else to attack it, but it's super-annoying to have to unzip two things to get inside the cooler. other than that, the bag functions great. lots of storage space, and the cooler is great for beer and snacks. I'd say this is great for quick hikes, or keeping in the car or close by instead of carrying it everywhere

great idea but follow through lacking

I was in the market for a backpack cooler and thought this would be great for hiking and also beach days. I loved the idea of having a separate area. This does keep drinks cool for a long time but it is no where close to waterproof in the cooler are. As the ice melts, it drips through the bottom and if the pack falls over in the car water leaks through the zipper portion. Ultimately, if they upgrade the cooler insert this would be stellar. It is comfortable to carry and I enjoy the cooler is removable for cleaning convenience.

Perfect day hike cooler backpack

This is the cooler backpack of my dreams. One part cooler, one part for everything else. Love the side mesh on BOTH sides for water and the straps in front for a rolled up picnic blanket.

Great pack with a cooler!

Very nice pack with comfortable shoulder straps. I've only used it once so far but did not have any issues with the cooler leaking or items in the cooler staying cold. Plenty of room in the top for anything you would need for a day hike. Pockets on the sides are spacious; they can fit 2 nalgenes each. The only thing that would make it better would be a hip belt but all around great purchase.
