Great trail and water shoe!

I purchased some Salomon Crossamphibian Swift 2 Water Shoes in women's size 8 US last minute before my 6 week trip to Hawai'i to use on the beach, walking around town, and during snorkeling. I absolutely love them! With and without socks they are extremely comfortable! Just like a tennis shoe and very light weight. No break in necessary. No squeaky thick uncomfortable rubber sole feel like traditional water shoes. They dry very quickly, keep a good amount of sand out unless buried, and provide adequate protection from the sharp lava and sea urchins when getting in and out of snorkeling spots. Don't plan to use them too long on rough terrain though as they don't have enough support for that and the material is very thin. I also love that they are extremely packable. I take them with me everywhere as a backup trail runner and for crossing larger rivers. Also, kudos to Salomon for producing this shoe made from recycled materials! Helping the environment without skimping on quality!

Comfortable but too narrow at the heel

Tried on in store. I agree with reviews that say to size down half size. Seemed really comfortable EXCEPT that the heel area ran really narrow and there was a rim that ran under one side of my foot that felt like it would quickly start rubbing and be uncomfortable. Otherwise the type box was comfortable for my slightly wide feet. Looked good, so sad to have to leave it at the store.

Lightweight and flexible!

Super comfortable and lightweight. The sole allows you to feel the trail underneath while still protecting. Feels like a second skin. I ordered a 8.5 and they fit perfectly with or without socks- I didn't need to size up or down. Excited to use this for trails, running, and work. Very adaptable and is attractive for everyday use too!

Exactly what I needed -but color is misrepresented

This shoe is perfect for my upcoming trip to Vietnam - super lightweight and breathable and definitely water proof. However, the green shoe color is the photo is VERY off. This is more like a seafoam green and white. Not the dark green showed here. Still the most fashionable water shoe I’ve seen on the market. I agree with other reviewers - i sized down by half a size and it is perfect. Definitely a pretty narrow shoe so skip this one if you have a wide foot.

Order one shoe size lower

The shoes I received were not exactly like the picture. They were a combination of the two color options. I tried them on and they were much larger than anticipated. I measured my foot and the inside of the shoe and found that the sizing chart is not accurate. I am going to return this pair and reorder. They are perfect for pool workouts! I do recommend them just be aware of the size difference.

Good, solid water shoe

I as looking for a water shoe to replace a water sock I had for kayaking. I needed something with an actual sole so I could portage my boat across gravel without feeling every rock and hot asphalt without burning my feet. This shoe is perfect! Still dries quickly, has a neoprene lip at the ankle that works like a sock to keep sand and debris out of the shoe, and has a sturdy but flexible sole. No chafing, no blisters, no burnt soles of my feet. I’m actually considering a second pair for everyday wear without socks.

Near Perfect

These are comfortable and stay put on my feet even in the undercurrent and waves of the Atlantic shoreline. These will be my go-to lake and beach shoes. I like that I could go from a hike to a swim. I wish there was a slight padding or softer tongue on the inside. As a neurodivergent person with sensory issues who cuts the tags out of everything, I was slightly bothered by the tag-like sensation of the inside lines of the shoe and tongue. I want to wear socks with them, but that defeats the purpose as water shoes. Good for drying fast but if even the material was more velvety it would have made a difference. I don’t know if others would notice as much. Felt better when wet than dry. Otherwise a perfect water shoe.

Very light weight

I bought these for hiking and running. They are surprisingly comfortable for running even though they have very light cushion in the sole, but with the thin material my feet didn't get hot. The tongue may be a little too thin. I can't tie the laces too tight or it will dig into my foot. These were also great for hiking at Devil's Lake State Park where the rocks there can be very slippery from being smoothed by all the foot traffic. I didn't slip once. Great traction.

Love these

Love these shoes. For someone who hates hot, heavy shoes, and wearing socks, these shoes are the solution. They are super lightweight, comfortable, and breathable. I've worn them working all day, and hiking, and they are great. I read reviews saying they are too big, I wear a size 10 in everything, and when they arrived I thought they were a little big, but now that they've been worn-in the size is fine, I think going half a size smaller would be too tight. The only possible issue I have with them is the light blue color, they have gotten dirty, a little darker color would have been better.

Not as shown, but otherwise a good shoe

I bought this show for an upcoming trip where there will be hiking along beaches and landings off of boats onto beaches. I haven’t road tested them yet but they fit and feel comfortable. By the way when I measure my feet and got the size based on the size chart, it was too big. I got a size 8 and ended up returning and got a 7 which fits still a bit on the loose side. I wear and 8 in most normal sneakers so may be best to size down. The 3 stars is because I didn’t get the shoe that is in their photo. The first time i bought them from a small sporting goods store and thought it might have been a mistake, but figured the mother company wouldn’t make the same error. Nope. Expected a grey and moss green shoe as shown on their website. Instead got a mint green and mostly white shoe. Not that it should affect function, but it kinda matters that a reputable company accurately represent what they are selling.

Light and comfy

I did some river crossing hikes with this new pair of shoes. It is light and really comfy. However, the grip on these shoes isn't the best. It still slid on some parts of the wet trail.
