Great for summer days on the water
I have been looking for a sun shirt at an affordable price for months and am so happy I finally found this one. I have primarily used it on multi-day canoe trips so far, but also plan to use it on spring/summer/fall day hikes. My favorite features of this shirt are: - Excellent sun protection. The hood and thumbholes allow me to avoid sunburn even better than wearing sunscreen (plus, I prefer to avoid sunscreen on multi-day trips when I can't shower at the end of the day). -Keeps you cool on the water. The shirt seems to somehow moderate evaporation rates so that, if I'm feeling overheated, getting the shirt damp will help me stay cool for hours. Mixed pro/con: the material isn't as light weight as some sun shirts I've had, and it can feel heavy at times. However, that also means I can use this as a light warmth layer when the sun goes down and the evening starts to get chilly. In my experience, this is ideal for days in the 90F's when it gets cool at night, and/or summer days on the water. I'd go with something a little lighter (in color and weight) for desert hiking.
Comfortable and light weight
Love this hoodie. It is light weight and looks very cute. Wore in the mornings when it was a little chilly and it folds really small when you need to pack it away in a back pack.
