Issues with stitching
Fit is good and runs true to size. The stitching along the bottom of the rash guard has unfortunately started coming undone after less than a month after purchasing. The stitching is completely gone from about a 5 inch section in the front of the rash guard and is coming undone in two other places, also along the bottom of the rash guard.
Great sun protection
My child wore it all day on the lake yesterday for the first time. Even though we reapplied sunscreen so many times, her face still ended up sunburned. But, her torso was perfect. The rash guard did it’s job well! My only complaint is that the vinyl Columbia letters on the sleeve are half gone after only one wear.
The arms are way too long!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to love this so much, but WHY are the arms SO LONG??? I've had so many issues with youth Columbia product and the arms being out of control long. I don't know what's happening, but it makes me sad because my daughter loves these tops for playing outside in the water. Please please fix this!
UPF Shirt for Seabase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son needed a UPF long sleeved shirt for his scout trip to Seabase this summer. I like the Columbia brand and have had good experiences with other clothing from them. We ordered the Child XL in Navy/Super Blue. The shirt fits well and washed well with no problems. It is just what we needed.
My kids live in these
My kids (and their friends) live in these shirts in the summer. Swimming, snorkeling, pretty much anything where they'll probably get wet. Saves a bunch of time and whining about sunblock, and the fabric gets pretty cool when wet -- in the shade with a breeze, almost chilly.
Great sun protection
Great sun protection. Fits my ten year old who is 55 inches and 70lb.
Great comfortable rash guard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Breezy and comfortable, fits close to the body which is great for swim. We also use it as a play shirt for sun protection. My 6 year old nephew loves it and wants more colors and 2 of each so he can keep some at my house and some at home ☺️
Great for tall, thin kids with long arms!
Purchased a medium. Fits my 10 year old in the 98th% for height very well! He's thin with long arms, and since the sleeves have thumb holes they are long enough! Material seems great. Not as thin as others big box stores but not heavy.
Thick, soft material
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered two of these shirts for my daughters thinking they were gonna be a thin material like the classing pfg shirt, but i was pleasantly surprised when i got them that they alot thicker. My girls loved them. They're true to size.
Not tight on the skin!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that these rash guards are actually loose on the kiddo! He can move and play and we don't have a fight about sunscreen. Unlike some other rash guards these aren't a pain to get on and off (wet or dry) due to the relaxed fit.
