[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm fairly new to the Columbia family. I purchased my first jacket last year...fleece. I love it... So much that i searched for my boys the same for this year. I liked the diversity of the colors. Each one has their own unique color scheme so that no one gets confused. I was a little disappointed at the colors in person. They looked more crisp on line. I was also a little disappointed at the stiffness of each jacket. Maybe i should wash and fluff before i make a true decision. But these are my thoughts getting then straight out the package. I wish the fleece was softer... But otherwise my kiddos are satisfied and they are warm.
Good Jacket - needs hanging help!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been buying these for a decade for my three kids and they are great - but they used to have the little loop that allowed them to be hung on a hook at home or school. At some point this went away and I guess I originally didn't notice because *some* of our fleeces were still hanging properly. But now all three of my kids have sized into the new version and I constantly have THREE fleeces laying all over our floor. I'm sure this is the case at school too. I am forever hanging these back up and they get really dirty (from all the time spent on the floor). PLEASE BRING BACK THE LOOP! I want to keep buying these, but am going to start looking for something that stays on the hook.

Toddler’s warm and cozy fleece zip up jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 18 month old loves his fleece zip up jacket and never whines or complains like he does with so many orger competitive brands and so often wiTh his other long sleeve jackets or hoodies which tend to be awkward in sizing. I am so happy and have peace of mind that my son can remain warm during colder temperatures and not have to worry that he will take his clothes off due to feeling uncomfortable or awkward, even for my picky toddler who already loves to pick his clothing to wear!! Thanks Colombia for making awesomely toddler friendly and warm clothing!
Perfect Spring/Fall Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my 4 yr old who is in 5T & 6 sizes. I wouldn't say its big but roomy which is great because then he can wear for more than 1 year. This is his second Columbia jacket and as with the first one, the sleeves are a little long but we just cuff them once and hes good to go. He eventually grows into them and we can un cuff. It grows with him! Very comfortable and he loves it. I would definitely recommend. They are well made, last with minimal (almost no visible) wear and tear, and become hand me downs for his little brother!
This is NOT the fleece quality that Columbia used to have in the past.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased the same style over a year ago (2018) and the material is SO much better, slightly thicker and durable. I just received ( January 2020) two of these jackets for my kids; but these ones look just line ANY other cheap fleece jacket you can get anywhere else and not the Columbia brand it used to be. By the way, I've verified it's the same style I purchased before by looking at my purchase history. Even the LOGO, instead of the embroidery logo on the jacket; there is just a piece of fabric that says Columbia. These are fairly inexpensive jackets and I don't mind paying more to maintain the same GOOD quality which it's what it used to set the standard when comparing with the rest of plenty available fleece jackets anywhere else. I am so disappointed.
Perfect for spring in New England!
My 4-year-old son needed a lighter jacket for warmer (but still cool) spring days and this fit the bill perfectly! The color is great (so nice to have something for boys that isn't just gray, navy, or black!) and he loves how fuzzy it feels. We both love the zippered pockets - perfect for storing treasures she picks up along the way! It's a little big for him, but I figured it would be, and that is just fine -- he can grow into it, and he likes that he can "hide" his hands in the sleeves when it's chilly!
Little Boys' Fleece Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second year I have ordered the little boys' fleece jacket for my grandson. He is still wearing the harness while in his car seat so he needed a jacket that was warm yet not bulky. This is the perfect weight. I had researched last year what style of jacket to buy that would have warmth yet not bulk for use with a car seat and this particular Columbia jacket was recommended. I have not been disappointed. It wears and washes wonderfully! Columbia always delivers!
Snuggly warm, roomy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This version of the Steens Mountain Fleece is roomier than past style yet also more soft and snuggly. I am a petite woman and usually purchase a boys large...the medium would be fitted as the sleeves and hem were too long on the large (even larger than needed for layering). Has retained soft snuggliness through several washings and stood up to a few months of wear. If this proves to be as durable as past Columbia fleece jackets anticipate good wear and wash life.
Could not be happier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this jacket for my 5 year old son and we love it. It’s soft and not too “chunky” as he would say. We’ve struggled finding a jacket warm enough yet not puffy to please our particular son. This hit the nail on the head so to speak. It’s warm, soft, with not a lot of extra baggage. Not to mention is super easy to clean. We’ve since purchased this jacket in 3 other color. The whole family is pleased with this purchase and that’s fairly rare.
