Almost Perfect... Except for Zipper
Would’ve been five stars but the zipper sometimes unzips by itself... for the price you pay for this, zipper should lock. Same goes with the Adahy hoody I have. Arc’teryx must do something about this. Other than that, everything else is great... so comfy and lightweight it keeps you warm for early mornings, late evenings and travel. Fit is not as trim/snug like usual Arc’teryx sweaters but is just right to have two thin layers underneath which I also like for versatility.
Great layering piece!
I have a Delta jacket already so was excited to see the hoodie version. I initially bought Awestruck, and like another reviewer, found the colour to be much more neon in person than what it looked like on the website. If it was a toned-down orange like how it looked on the website I would have kept - I ended up ordering Firoza instead. I really like this fleece for the weight - it's light enough it can layer under all kinds of jackets, or wear on its own in the warmer months. I wear both mediums and larges in Arc'teryx tops and went with the large, it fits smaller than say the Kyanite hoodie in my opinion.
perfect lightweight hoody
I was looking for something light weight for chilly summer evenings or when grocery stores are freezing when its hot outside. The medium fits slightly loose/relaxed but not enough to feel too big.
Amazing sweater
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got it about a month ago, the outlet colour and I am very pleased. I’ve had the hoodless version from years ago and I was worried the size different wouldn’t work but I fit smaller than the last! I’ve used it for climbing and running and I couldn’t be happier with it great all around sweater
Nice Hoodie, Needs Longer Sleeves
Note for taller people/long limbs: I'm 6' and the sleeves rest just at the top of my wrist bones when my arms are relaxed by my side. Any movement, and the sleeve hems move up the arms. If you need your sleeves to reach past your wrists and not look too short when you move, consider sizing up or consider another hoodie. Second point is more of a cosmetic one. The fabric on the front of the sweater looks very wrinkly if you don't fill out the top well enough (i.e. if you're around an A cup). Not my favourite look, but this is a technical layering piece and not a fashion sweater.
Wardrobe staple
Absolutely love it. I had friends asking where I got it as soon as I started wearing it. This is the perfect, super light hoodie to thrown on wherever you're going. I have been wearing it every week since I got it and have washed multiple times without any annoying fabric pilling or abrasion. I did order the Dimma color, which was hard to tell online if it was black or blue or ? It ended up being a very dark, almost purple gray. Versatile color makes it easy to wear with black or navy, or pretty much any color really.
Hiking
I was excited and ordered size XS. However I am very disappointed when it arrived. It is away too big than the ones I bought before, it will be returned back.
Great sweater, but the colour...
This is a terrific, lightweight zip-up hoodie. Amazing as a layer for all kinds of sports. But I bought the colour "Awestruck" and it's NOTHING like the colour online. It's more like day-glo orange than a light yellow-orange that I expected. A rescue helicopter combing the woods would have no issue seeing this sweater from the air.
Comfortable but already pilling
I purchased this in black in January and I’m a bit disappointed in the quality. After a few washes, there’s already pilling all over the arms. The material picks up every little piece of lint, and I have to use a lint roller before every wear. I would return if I could.
