For light duty it’s fine
For light duty it’s fine probably. If you have climbers hands you’ll just crush it like a Leatherman. I’d really think about any of the Gerber with the pliers that slide straight out. Those are the best multitools made. This tool has no saw. Crushed mine the first time I used the pliers. Both pins bent so opening it is weird. The body also bent and the scissors don’t work after that. All the tools feel loose, they don’t reliably lock. All that said, if you don’t crush it it’s probably fine. Those with climbers hands might want a stronger tool.
Not properly tempered evidently
The first one I bought was lost within two weeks because the pocket clip was weak and bent easily. I bought another. It lasted a month until the needle nose broke trying to loosen a small bolt. Bought another. Attempted to cut a peice wire and part of the frame broke near the needle nose rendering it unusable. This time I had the receipt and returned it for another. I kept it in a tighter pocket because of past issues. As I got out of my truck today the clip caught the steering wheel and bent as it was being snatched out of my pocket. I can do without the clip but this tool breaks, and it will, I think I'm done with gerber.

Best bang for your buck
I'm an aircraft mechanic and I use this thing non stop with no issues. This is the cheapest full sized multi tool you will find with locking tools, a deep carry clip, and spring loaded pliers. And with a little practice it can easily be opened and used with one hand. If you want a budget option but still need something that pulls its own weight, this is it . Does it fling open with the flick of a wrist? No. Does it get the job done for 1/3 of the price? All day long. I will say this... don't expect the knife in this multi tool to replace your ever day pocket knife. It works fine in a pinch but I still carry my Gerber straight lace every day for more common uses.
Good for just in case!
I just received it in the mail and was surprised by how big/heavy it was (not necessarily a bad thing)! Toyed around with it and looked up a youtube video for some help. I really enjoy the locking feature for each tool. I was also pleasantly surprised that I could fold the tool to hide the pliers. Ive never had a multi tool before and thought it would be a good beginners investment. Figured I could use it to open a bear canister, remove splinters, etc. The knife is sharper than I thought it would be and the scissors work great!
Disappointed
Major downgrade from original Suspension. Lost my old one and picked the NXT because it was the only one my sporting goods store had in stock and figured it would be an upgrade. Handles were misaligned. Only the tools on the knife side work well. The entire side with the Phillips driver were a pain to operate. I had to use my flat head on my other edc multi tool to pry and get the awl and file to open. Then blast lubricant to get them to work loose. I have to jiggle the release lever to get them to close properly. Try and find yourself a regular Suspension, they work really well for the price right out the package.
Not worth the savings
Flimsy at the main hinge. Main knife blade surprisingly short once opened. Immediately returned and paid the extra for the leather man Rebar. Much higher quality tool.
Easy to carry
It's easy to carry due to the side clip that helps secure it in a holster. It's not heavy and is a fantastic essential tool for day-to-day or weekend camping!
Amazing
I got this as a gift for Christmas and it is amazing the blade came sharp and I haven’t had to sharpen anything yet because it’s been so good
Never had enough toys as a kid.
Gerber keeps finding ways to improve multitools and driving the cost down. I have owned the original Suspension, so when the NXT came our with a pocket clip, I had to have it. I love the weight feel of this tool. I was surprised there is no stud on the blade for 1 hand opening. The Phillips screwdriver is long like a real screwdriver. The scissors are stubby, but usable. I'm not fond of the wire spring. The tool feels good in my hand and has the basics. Just what I need. For the money, it's an effective value-priced tool with a real lifetime warranty.
Almost good
I was on the fence about 3 or 2 stars. Ultimately, it came down to the quality of the clip. I want this for EDC and for the clip to attach this tool to my pocket. The metal of the clip is super thin and has bent such that it no longer is really secure in my pocket. I have a EDC knife with a clip I have carried for over 5 years with ZERO give to the clip - even after all those years of daily carry. Just seems they used really cheap materials on something that should be (in my opinion) much thicker so it is not prone to bending and stays more secure.
