Rear Derailleur is Poorly Made

I purchased this Groupset last summer and initially really like the product but after a couple of months my derailleur began ghost shifting. Initially I thought it was just out of adjustment but after several different shops looked at it, it became clear the issue was with the construction of the rear derailleur. I asked REI if they would warranty it but they said the issue was wear and tare. Essentially the the rear derailleur was worn out after 3 months of occasional use. I would not recommend buying this product unless you plan on upgrading the rear derailleur.

Great solution to update a bike.

Updated from 3x9 to 1x12. Great way to bring an old bike up to date and simplify the drive train. Doesn’t include the bottom bracket.

Loving this 1x system!

Replaced a Shimano 2 x 10 drivetrain with this groupset and can say that I’ve never before enjoyed such an improvement. It’s simple (easy for me to say, I didn’t engineer it), the shifting is amazing, the gears are perfectly spaced, and it’s just fun! I strongly recommend it.

Best bang for the buck 1x conversion

Could not believe how much this groupset has transformed my hardtail entry level Cannondale that came with a 3x9. Shifts are quick, and crisp and I thought 12 gears was excessive but it's absolutely not! I had trouble with tuning the gears but took it o REI and they got it running perfectly. I wasn't sure about the SRAM's shifter but it's very intuitive and easy to use.

Good system

Good system for my riding ability, easy to install and made a huge difference in being able to climb hills. I have and older Trek and it in great shape, it just needed some upgrades. This is well worth the money
