Not that great no matter the size
I wanted to really like this skirt, but it is just OK. I tried on both the large and medium, and neither fit well. The large was way too big, and the medium is a tiny bit too small. Both had trouble laying nicely - the skirt pulls in funny areas and won't lay flat. Both the large and medium did the same thing. Perhaps I am too curvy for Patagonia clothes??? Either way, I needed another sport skirt for a trip to Canada, so I went with the medium. It was good enough, but I always have hopes that everything and anything Patagonia will be loved by me, and this skirt just isn't - to my disappointment...
Loving this Skort!
This skort is amazing! I bought the kale green color last year and just purchased the skort in black. It is a great staple in my closet that can be worn hiking, running errands or out to eat. Size reference, I am 5'4", 145 pounds, athletic build and the small worked for me. My only compliant is if it is windy, the skort can fly open, but no fear, the shorts under have you covered!
Super Cute
Super cute skort! Totally comfy skort! For my body type (small waste, big butt and thick thighs) The sizing was tough to call. I ended up getting a medium, but the waste was large, so I ended up using the draw string a lot which bunched the material in the waste a bit. With many skorts the short part rides up, but that could be because of my thick thighs. Oh well. But still worth the purchase as they are super cute.
Cute, comfy, and travels anywhere
I bought this on a whim when traveling and the weather turned out warmer than predicted. Turned out to be a new favorite in my wardrobe. Super comfortable. Lightweight to keep you cool in hot climates. Packs into a tiny bundle with no wrinkles. Has breathable lining short for modesty so you can bend, stretch, squat or whatever you need to do with grace and comfort. And it's really flattering as well!
Cute meets functional
I love this skort! It’s the perfect cute-meets-functional item. It’s long enough to wear to work (casual dress code) or dress up a bit. Patagonia can do no wrong!
Really shiny crepe material, runs big
This skort was not at all what I expected from Patagonia. The skirt material feels like crepe paper and is uncomfortable to touch, like wearing shiny tissue paper. It seems like it will snag on everything. It also runs big, so an XS is too big for me (5”4, 120 lbs 35” hips) which is crazy vanity sizing. Really disappointed.

Cute standing up, not so much sitting down.
Cute wrap around looking skort that is very comfy and has nice pockets. Looks great when you are standing up but think twice. The shorts are very short and the skirt parts very wide and doesn't leave much to the imagination when you sit down. I'm older and prefer more modest clothing. I'm 5 ft 4 and 130 lbs and usually wear an 8 or 10 so the size I purchased fits well. Just doesn't keep everyone covered very well when you sit.
Wonderful travel skirt
I have a few of these skirts that I had bought for a recent trip, so I went back and got a couple of more for an upcoming vacation. They are wonderful for travel, I like that it’s a skort. No wrinkling. Very comfortable and a bit modest for some of us older ladies.
THE BEST PURCHASE EVER
I am not the type of person to ever write a review..even if I love the product. I just never feel like anything is so great that I need to waste my time writing a review. This is different. I bought two of these skorts and was so surprised at how amazingly comfortable it is. It’s so stretchy but still fitting. It is the perfect length. I am 5’2 152 lbs and the SMALL fits like a charm. I usually wear a medium in most things so I was very proud of myself and Patagonia for making me feel perfect for being me. I’ll be ordering 2 more.
