Sizing Notes

Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.

SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.

TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.

Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.

Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great item, but one weird thing happens with these
I have about a dozen of these shirts and wear them all the time. They are comfortable and wear well. One thing defies logic though, and it is weird enough that I have to mention it -- if I wash 6 of them at one time, all 6 will come out of the dryer inside out. Every time. Now, I make sure they all go in the washer right side out. They still come out of the dryer inside out. Out of probably 100 shirt washings altogether, maybe 2 or 3 came out right side out. It is statistically impossible. Anyone else experience this?

This is not the Co-op Tech Tee replacement
I was told that this shirt was the direct replacement to the excellent and far superior REI Co-op Tech Tee. It isn't even close. If you're a fan of the original tech tee, please let me know if you find a shirt even remotely similar as REI have made the biggest blunder in canceling that line. This shirt in particular hangs off of me like I'm wearing a sarape - not in the least bit taylored and the fabric looks and feels like something that is going to wear out after a few washes, while some of my original tech tees are nearly 10 years old and practically look like the day I bought them. REI, take a hint and bring back the Co-Op Tech Tee!

Sharp, Clean, and nonfancy with Class!

The shirt has a great cutout with fabric which appears to have texture, but smooth to the touch. The rich summery orange colore gives perfect contrast between my black bandana & black cargo pants! It's a spectacular shirt which is simply to the point- getcha one! Ha!

Great value, many colors.

I ride 20 miles /e mtn bike, local Wasatch mountains. Impressive shirt for the money, add a backpack and of course you'll sweat, but it wicks above 60 degrees. Wash by hand, shocking how fast it dries. The best part is REI offers it in many colors, on sale, free pickup at your local REI, they walk it out to you, and save all the packaging/shipping+you get your loyal members discount. A technical enough t-shirt for the price, it's not Capilene soft but is so light you don't even notice it on.

Great every day shirt

I love these shirts. I have three of them now. They have a very comfortable fit. The seams seem to bother some people but I have no problem with them. The seams are carefully placed so backpack straps don't force them into your skin. The shirts are somewhat form fitted, which is good if your thin or athletic. And the colors are awesome as well. The only issue I've had is the little reflective strip on the back comes off after a couple washes, but I don't really care about that. I wear these shirts hiking, mountain biking, camping, around town, etc. They are comfortable, breathe well, look good and don't stink. These shirts are an awesome value.

Great except for one thing

Fit is good, material is good, quality seems good. The only downside to these is that the seams along the inside of the shirt are fairly large and scratchy which can be fairly irritating

Good alternative to the old Sahara

My standby Sahara tee went through enough design and fabric changes that it wasn't what I was looking for in a tee anymore. I picked through a variety of options and found these, which work very nicely with the off-shoulder seam, breathable, quick drying. One thing I liked about the Sahara that this one misses is the old Sahara tee was cool when it was hot and warm when it was cool. This one is great in the hot, but not as good when it's cool. Overall, a really comfortable shirt.

Excellent

I bought this shirt in irange and charcoal for camping and hiking. Ended up using them when I catch my softballer. The shirt is soft, breaths well, and is comfortable to wear in the heat and humidity. I bought the Tall to get a little extra length. I will be buying more.

Scratchy stitching on soft fabric

The fabric is very soft, comfortable, breathable. However, the stitching around the neck and shoulders is scratchy. It looks like the manufacture tried to mitigate this by covering up the stitching on the back of the neck with more fabric. That works, but the front of the neck and over the shoulders are still scratchy. It's not terrible, and doesn't really bother me while exercising. However, if I wear the shirt to bed, I notice it. It's quite comfortable if worn inside out.

Do not like this shirt

This shirt is badly designed. Fits odd. The shoulder seams are terrible and it's super baggy. Not at all slim or snug to your torso. I have two of these and wish I didn't buy them.
