Good boots at a good price, just buy larger.

These boots are just right for kids learning to use cross-country skis. They are relatively easy to get on and off, they are insulated for warmth and are stiff enough in the sole and ankle to give them good control. As other reviewers have noted, they are much smaller than the labeled size. I ordered 34's for my 5 year old granddaughter, whose shoe size would have put her in 31's according to the size chart. The 34's fit well with just a little room to spare. For that reason, I also recommend buying them two or three sizes larger than the size chart indicates. If they are too large, an extra pair of wool socks does wonders. Overall, the quality of these boots is very good, especially at the reasonable price.

The best kids / juniour boots we've found

Been purchasing these for several years as our two kids grow up. So far collected sizes 29...35, and now came back for 36 (gush kids grow fast). Work great! Completely water proof, kids been playing in snow (skis off), not much snow gets inside, only a little, easy to clean. No breakage whatsoever for 3+ years.

Size

My kids used these boots at a local rental and they were great. Easy to snug up and cozy. The sizing is VERY small. My kiddos 12-13 US feet fit the size 34, which I had ordered for my other kiddos’ US size 1.5 feet based on the size chart but he could not even get them on!!

Too narrow

While the build quality and lateral support are good, the toe box is too narrow and one has to buy larger in order to ensure comfortable fit. But then you have a flex issue as the ball of the foot is not positioned properly.
