Great book for we Philly folks!
My wife are new to day hiking. We picked this book up at a trip to REI, and I am glad we did. First, the book is accurate (mileage, time, difficulty) and the author even commented that his factors may be off from ours but rather was spot on. We are older and have some physical issues, but choosing the well described trails from this book with a minimal elevation gain, and labeled easy to moderate helped save us time and provide for a great experience.
