Un modelo que me encanta probado en ediciones anteriores y que siempre me ha dado fantasticos resultados
I used to buy Kayano’s every year. 23 was a little big in the toe area but perfect otherwise. For me, the 24 is still as stiff on the sole as the day I bought them. They’re now on around 400km and they haven’t loosened up at all. I can’t roll my foot when running from heel to toe because the shoe doesn’t allow it. Instead it slaps down because of the ultra hard plastic anti pronate element to the shoe. It’s the same as on the 23 I believe, but something’s changed in the 24 and I can’t use them anymore. Changing to brooks adrenaline this time after a friend recommended them. The 24 is very comfortable though, but not good for me anymore.
Not clear if there is a difference between 2E and Standard D? My old pair of Kayano 2O were more comfortable and cushioned but the Kayano 24 2E is more stable but less comfortable new out of the box ... the shoes provide a very stable and modestly cushioned ride. I have bad knees and joints and these shoes allow me to continue my walking with less likelihood of injury. It is little of a love hate relationship... I am not entirely pleased with the fit of the upper and the bottom of my heel burns and hurts little under the inside heel support ... but they are doing their job so far and I don't feel entirely beat up by the pavement.
I bought a pair of the Gel Kayano 24's at an outlet about 2 months ago when I wanted to get into jogging again. I've had problems with drop foot and had an Achilles tendon lengthening operation. Hadn't jogged for 7 years and have never had a pair of trainers that didn't give me pains. Shoes tend to dig into my ankles and create blisters and sores, my heels, the arches of my feet and the ball of my feet also give me problems. I spent 3-4 days breaking in my Kayano 24's on walks, have progressed from 200-300m to 5km jogs since then in 2 months. Never notice my feet whilst wearing these puppies and can focus on using my muscles and proper form whilst jogging in them. I hope Asics never stop producing them.
This Kayanos 24 are not like the 19, 20, 21, or 22s . This 24s have poor Arch support, Less gel, and poor cushion. ):
I have all kayano series best runing shoes ever for long distance and walking .
Not for narrow feet! Construction seems cheap. Tongue slides to the outside and is very thin. Heel construction is good. Padded ring around heel prevents slippage and holds heel well. Overall a good show but for the price would expect better.
I have been wearing Kayanos for 10+ years. I have a bad lower back and it's the only shoe that reduces the shock enough to make it tolerable. Loved Kayanos up until the 19 edition. That shoe had lost it's cushioning and felt cheap. They fixed it on the 21/22 and they were GREAT! Then they changed it again on the 23/24 and now they hurt my back because they either use less GEL or maybe the FlyteFoam is too light and less absorbing of impact. I don't know, I'm not a shoe designer. I just HOPE they correct it on the 25 and bring back the cushioning.
Worn these for a few runs and wow was I impressed! My knees usually hurt due to Iliotibial Band Syndrome (ITBS), but these almost entirely negated that. They're also made of top-quality materials, and fit very well. I've used them for path running and for squash, and they excelled both times. A must-have for people with ITB syndrome! Asics provides high quality products with enough different type of shoes to cater to any customer. I was blown away by the quality of my shoe, when previous, more expensive shoes have been of far inferior quality.
I love these shoes! This is my third pair I have bought over the last 3 years. I have to say this new improved pair definitely fits better and provides a more comfortable run. I use to get shin splints and these shoes have eliminated that issue. I have tried other shoes from Nike, Adidas, and New Balance but they do not compare to the Kayano series. I put about 1,200-1,500 miles on these shoes before they start to wear down. These shoes are extremely durable and comfortable. If you are looking to run long distances these are the shoes for you.
