Size 11 and flat foot/diabetic
It’s about time I write a review since Ive had them for years. Ive had the black boots since 2016 and the brow/ Elk, Black since 2020. Best winter boots I've had. We have a lot of shoveling to do here in Chicago in winter. I wore these shoveling snow with NO socks and kept my feet warm. My brother and father both have worn them outside to shovel snow since they don’t have winter boots lol. the black had bought those in size 12 Thinking I would need to double up my socks but I did not have to. The bigger size did help years later for when my diabetes swelled my feet bad. I still wear them and have used them hiking now that my feet are no longer swollen. I wear these for hiking in the snow. Hiked at starved rock in the cold in December 2021 and also saw another girl using them to hike in the same group hike. I have some snow cleats and the cleats fit good on my boots since they are not bulky. They are also pretty light for winter boots which make exploring/hiking with them nice. I also ride my motorcycle with them on on the cold days here in Chicago. I wore them to the Toys for TOTS. Which my feet have gotten a little cold since my feet are not moving and it does not activate the heat system in the boot. So, I don’t count that against the boots. These boots are my go to for winter/cold activities. I do love these boots and would definitely buy again once they wear out.
Great snow boots!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a long and serious search for good boots for a snow trip, I was impressed by the number (literally thousands) and high rating of reviews the Ice Maiden II have, even over more expensive and renown brands! I wasn´t so sure about the design, as I would have liked a pair a bit taller and more sporty, more like the Meadows´style. I was also a bit concerned about the fitting, since I have thin legs and the upper side of the boots seemed kind of wide. Nonetheless, they fit great and do an excellent job in keeping my foot dry, toasty, comfortable and stylish. I am a firm size 8 and bought a half size up for thick socks, but in general they fit true to size. If you intend to wear only a pair of wool socks, you might as well rather buy your regular size (no need to wear 2). I tried both the Ice Maiden and the Meadows, and found both true to size and equally warm, despite the first ones´lack of omni-heat technology. Eventhough I like the Meadows style better, I had to return those because I ordered a full size up due to reviews, and they were very big indeed. Dont hesitate; you will soon be one of the thousands satisfied reviewers!
I now love snow cause of these.
Theses are my first pair of snow boots and honestly they’re my favorite outta all my shoes. My feet stay comfortable, warm, and best of all dry. I don’t feel like an astronauts cause they’re light enough to run. My favorite investment when it comes to shoes.
Comfortable and great fit!
SIZING: I typically wear a 9 in regular shoes and an 8.5 if I'm buying wide. I got these in a 9W because they website said they ran small and I wanted to be able to wear thicker socks. I'm very happy with the 9W! I think I could have gotten away with the 8.5W but it would have been borderline short. The 9W do not look or feel sloppy. COMFORT: I love how the fabric is flexible around the ankle. I have had issues with boots being too stiff which causes rubbing on my heel. These have a very comfortable foot bed and I can add my arch inserts for extra support. HIGHLY recommend.
Great winter/snow boots
Bought these for my daughter in Ohio, lots of snow days, and she loves them. They keep her feet warm trudging through the snow to class. Purchased online and that got there faster than expected. Very happy with this purchase.
The Perfect Boot!
These boots are perfect! Stylish, lightweight, warm and sooo comfy! Perfect for all cold winter weather including walking in rain or snow!! I ♥️ them!
Purchased in 2017 and still kicking
I actually bought these boots 5 years ago. To trek thru the slush & snow as a college commuter walking 1mi+ every day in Rochester, NY weather. These boots kept my feet warm & dry for 5 solid years and they STILL have life in them. I took them with me ice fishing that's how warm they are. I'm on here buying the ice maiden II now. I cannot compliment enough how good the construction is on these shoes. Beautifully engineered.
Great winter boots!
I got them for New Hampshire winter. So far they have been so comfortable and warm boots. I haven’t tried them below zero yet because it hasn’t been below zero. I’m usually size 8.5 and got size 9 and fit perfect with wool or thick socks to keep your feet warm. They are truly water proof. I’m happy with them.
