Poor quality

I’m not sure if it’s the specific color I ordered (tobacco) but when I opened the box I was shocked at the poor quality of these shoes. They have scuff marks on them and what looks like cuts on the leather. Honestly, they just look like someone’s hand me down boots they’ve worn for years. Very disappointed because I was so excited to wear these boots this fall. I may try again with the black pair, because I do like the style.

Worn 3 times & they look trashed!

I bought one month ago. I have worn about 3 times. The front of the boot is all beat up & the grey felt balls up. I really thought I would love these boots...but I’m very disappointed. I went to dinner in them a few times..no walking the city or anything crazy!

Disappointed

Let me preface with - I love Sorel. These are my 5th pair by the company. I have never had an issue with any of their products.. until now. These boots are so cute however these were definitely worn by someone else and returned then sent to me.. the SHOE box (not the shipping box) arrived damaged.. no big deal at first but then only one of the shoes was packed with paper and those cardboard expanders they usually put in shoes. The worst of it though that made the other things mentioned, matter was they sadly arrived scuffed up. I really want to keep these but also am frustrated they are already slightly damaged .. the coloring is slightly off but I dont mind them. I will also mention size up especially if you’re wide foot. I usually wear a 7 with space but after reading reviews I opted for an 8 and it’s perfect

Bummed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these boots during the black Friday promo and was excited to finally own a pair of Sorel's. When they finally arrived, one of the boots had a scratch and what appeared to be a glue stain. I've attached the photos. In any event, I returned the boots. The agent was super helpful in arranging the return and credit. I'm willing to try purchasing again in the future with hopes of a better outcome.

Leather absorbs stains and they won’t come out.

I was hoping for a boot that would do well in fall and winter weather but still look cute and fashionable. Unfortunately a couple of small instances have changed the appearance of the shoes and they look dirty. I filled the instructions for cleaning but the stains are still there. One day, the parking lot was wet and my child stepped on the side of my shoe with their wet shoe. That’s the first picture. A drop spilt on the top of the other shoe and won’t come out. That’s the second picture. Both of these pictures are after I tried to remove the stains. And as you can see from the front of the boot, that whole section has become darker and not like the original color. These seem like really normal everyday occurrences so I’m disappointed that I spent so much on these shoes and this is what happened.

My first pair of Sorel shoes

Good material and there comfortable, please keep in mind I am walking around my house. And yes if your going to wear thick socks go up a size, I am 5.5 shoe size. Hopefully I can wear them out soon, so far they look really good and the color is beautiful. I hope this helps

I LOVE these boots!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought my second pair of the Lexie Wedge boots. I have a lot of issues with discomfort with shoes on the balls of my feet and my heels but I can walk miles in these boots with no issues (literally, I’d walk several miles round trip to work each day). One thing to note is that the boots are tight when you first get them, I was concerned that I needed to go up a half size. However, after just a few days of wear, the boots relaxed and felt perfect! I wear my boots all the time, with everything from jeans to business causal outfits. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants something comfortable, versatile, and stylish in their closet :)

Love the Lexie

The Lexie wedge is awesome! I’m usually a 7.5/8. A lot of reviews say to go with a half size up if one has wide feet but if I go too big on wedges, the heels slip, so I took a chance with the 7.5. I’m glad I did. I was a little nervous when I first tried them on because they were a bit snug but as I walked around in them, they began to relax. The more I wear them the more comfortable they get. I think it’s a matter of breaking them in because I have wide feet and I have no problem with my regular size in the Lexie. As for the color, I ordered in quarry. Looks just as pictured. These boots do scuff easily but that’s normal for leather. Nothing a little leather oil or conditioner can’t fix if it bothers you that much.

SO cute

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have big feet and my Joan of Arctic wedges are big shoes, but I was presently surprised that these are so cute and make my feet look small. I was also pleasantly surprised, I got the Quarry color, that the laces are a fuchsia not red. Perfect boot, waterproof, for the city and for living in the mid-Atlantic states, lots of rain and wet weather. I usually wear a 10 in other brands, but have realized I am happiest with thin socks and a 9.5 in all my Sorels, these are no different. However, they are tight to start, and I don't have wide feet, but I can already feel them stretching out, so it shouldn't be a problem after a few wears.

My Top fav boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This will my fourth pair of Sorel boots and I am absolutely so in love with them. I am 5ft tall, 127 lbs and normally wear a size 6.5 on closed-toes shoes and I have wide feet from pregnancy and weight-lifting workouts and the Sorel Lexie boots I got was also 6.5 and fit perfectly with medium thickness socks. I suggest if you decide to wear thicker socks, definitely go up half a size more. These boots are ready for use in all kinds of weather, you name it; snow, rain, and even during the summer. Best part is it looks sexy and rugged, while feeling comfortable. I can walk and run errands all day with them! Don’t think! Just buy it. You won’t regret it!
