I ❤️ Donuts
I bought the donut bell for my 4 year old daughters bike. She loves it!! I was worried she may not have the strength to ring it but no issues there. Great gift for the best kid ❤️

Small Attachment Loop
There's no way this bell attaches to anything but a very small handlebar. I asked the sales rep specifically, "Will this fit ANY bike?" Answer: "Yes." The answer should have been "No, only those with X cm circumference." Should have done my research first online.

Adequate, but kinda "Meh..."

A decent enough bell with a beautiful sound. However, for the steep price, there's a few things I would've liked in addition to the sonic pleasure. For one, there are no drain holes in the lower housing, so if the bike is ever out in the rain (like when transporting by car on a weekend road trip), said water will accumulate and eventually rust. Additionally, the mounting hardware was cheap in my opinion. No protective rubber strips to prevent scratching of your handle bars. Basically, I found it to be kinda "Meh." But again, it's adequately loud and has a beautiful sound.

Horrible Quality

The print scratched off immediately. The bell hasn't been on the bike more than 10 minutes and it's ruined.

Clamp is way too small.

This bell has a nice "older" sound. However, the metal clamp is too small to fit my 25.4 mm handlebars or anywhere else on the bike.

NO, on this product, but love the store & people!!

My kids were in the store with us and saw this bell which look and sounded great. So we bought 2 for them and put them on (one in the store by the staff which was very nice to do). Once we were home we put the other one on and they sounded great.....for a week and that was it! After one week both bells did not make any bell related noise anymore and simply just clicked like a ratchet would sound. I thought it was something that they both did it and virtually in the same time frame, maybe 24 hours apart. Needless to say I am no mechanical genius with bike bells but we did try to see if there was a simple fix. There wasn't! So back to REI we went and due to the great policy they have for returns this was an easy one to do, if you have to do it. I would rather never to return something but these bells did not work good for us, and they are fairly expensive to begin with. So you want it to at least work for a long time if you are going to pay a pretty penny for a bell. REI was great, as always, and we will continue to do our shopping there if not for the products alone but also for the great staff and way they conduct business. It is one of only a few stores I look forward going to because I know we are going to have a good experience there. When someone treats your kids like they really care about them it goes a long way in my book, and I remember it. Thanks for making our experience there a good one, even when we had to return something!

Too small

The bell looks and sounds nice but it doesn’t fit around my handlebars. Definitely not one size fits all.

Will only fit a toddlers bike

This bell seems to be good quality and has a good sound but unless you plan to mount it on a toddlers bike it is absolutely useless. The mounting bracket isn't adjustable and I haven't seen a handlebar that this would work with since I learned to ride a bike.

A cheerful jingle

I rode in the headlands with my new MTB bell today. Instead of a strident “DING” this bell has a cheerful jingle, so people turned and smiled when I approached. Maybe they thought I was the ice cream truck. Nice touch. Also it fit my handlebars just fine, with ample leeway for wider or narrower. And the price was right.
