Loon Hunter
Absolutely love this kayak. I use it for hunting. Decoys in the back hatch and the dog on top. Hunting bag up front with the shotgun at the ready! Super comfortable and has plenty of room without being too large. Handles very well even with my dog on the back. The rigid but lightweight polylink hull is awesome.
Awesome kayak
Bought this kayak a couple of weeks ago. Shipping and customer service was fast and extremely friendly. This is quite an upgrade from my other kayaks. I would definitely recommend it. It tracks well, is stable and very fast compared to my 10' kayaks. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it at the beginning of the summer, but I am still looking forward to a fantastic fall of kayaking and fishing. You won't be disappointed!
Cuts through the water nicely
I am pretty much a novice however I could not be more pleased with it. Plenty of room and storage, comfortable, durable, well balanced and glides effortlessly. My brother in law has a Vapor and there is no doubt this is a better yak in all aspects (extra money well spent). If I had one complaint, it does not track as well as one would hope.
Love my Loon 126's!
So beautiful, so easy to use, golf umbrella in the fishing pole holder works great for shade when puttering around birding, eating lunch. I have used many kayaks over the years and own seven kayaks, including my two Loons. They are by far the nicest ride.
Beautiful looking boat
Haven't had this in the water yet, but after doing a bunch of research on this vs some of it's peers I'm glad I went this route. It's well crafted and a very comfortable fit for me (6'4, 240) but would easily adjust for any size boater. I was surprised to find it did come with a small 1.5lb anchor, which i ended up swapping out the line with another slightly larger anchor that I had already purchased. The anchor pulley system is designed for a certain size (hence the line swap). There's plenty of room for gear and everything that I was looking for in features. Anything I was confused on how it works was easily solved after sitting in the boat for a few minutes. You can tell they put some thought behind the design. Some of they key differentiations for me vs other boats were the weight capacity, triple layered hull, console has water bottle attachment, and the ACS seat. I also like the look of the cargo straps in the front being tucked into the grooves - which also supposedly help with side winds from pushing you off course.
Everything you need in a fishing kayak
Tracking is great seat is very comfortable paddle holder and anchor were nice additions
