Better than an electric pump!
So I purchased this pump for my new inflatable 14 foot kayak and it works great! Originally I purchased this pump just to top off the pressure once the electric pump did most of the work, but it only took me about five minutes to pump up the kayak with the Titan alone, so no need for the electric pump. The only issue I had was with the pressure gauge not resetting back to zero, but the Red Paddle Company is sending a new gauge free of charge. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, the Titan is well worth the money!!
Good, not magical
Bought this as the pump that came with my SUP made me miserable. With all the hype about this Titan pump - which I wanted to buy last summer but it sold out - I guess I hoped it was magical and I would happily pump up my board in 10 minutes, without breaking a sweat. Surprise - it's a human-driven pump!! It is still work! And it still takes awhile. I was still sweating. Is it better, though, than the pump I had? Absolutely. The hose part actually plugs into my board and the pump, so that's a huge improvement (inevitably, one or the other would blow out at least twice and how embarrassing it that). And sure, it did seem to pump up a bit faster. I appreciated the two speeds, if that's what you call them, as it at least makes it possible to pump without throwing all your body weight desperately at your half-full board for over 20 minutes. It's physically more possible and visually less embarrassing to pump up my board, is what I mean. I'm a 5' tall woman doing this solo, by the way. Is it worth $150? I used my dividend which helped me cope with the gross price tag. Was I able to find a quality, cheaper option over the course of the past 12 months? Nope, and that is why I finally got it. It will get the job done and it feels built to last.

We couldn’t get our inflatable paddle boards to the recommended pressure with the pumps that came with them. So we did some research and this one came highly recommended. We wanted to float the river the next day so no time to order online. We did some shopping around locally and found it at REI. Sure enough, this pump is amazing! Well worth the money, this pump works!!
Loving this Pump - High Pressure, No Problem
I've had other pumps that are next to impossible to get my SUP to the higher pressure it was designed to be inflated to. This pump works like a charm! Remove the plug and its so easy to get my board above 15 PSI. Love it - my arms and back thank you!
Pumped Up!
This pump made life so much quicker & easier to get my inflatable SUP board pumped up and me out on the water! Loved that it has other attachments too so quickly pumped up the mattress in my tent too on the last camping trip by the lake!
