Excellent all around paddle board

I found it easy to find my balance on this board and move along nicely. It is extremely stable. I routinely take my 40 pound dog along. I even hauled crab pots with it while kneeling. Not the fastest board on earth but fast enough for a big stable inflatable. I'm very satisfied with the construction. Very rigid compared to boards that only take 15 psi of air although it's still very rigid at that pressure. I'm 200lbs and it holds me fine at that pressure. It's quite a bit more pumping to get it to 20 psi. Kind of a pig in the wind but all big boards are. The longer fins are nice and a breeze to remove.

Very fun, stable board

I'm new to paddle boarding, but bought this because I wanted an all-around board for flatwater, but stable/short enough to also take on the Missouri River. It's a great board! Not the easiest to inflate. Took me about 25 mins and worked up a minor sweat to get to 17 psi, but it was perfect for me (5-11, 180 lb). Tip: make sure you open the box when at the store. Mine didn't include the drybag, leash, or camstrap, but a call to REI the next day rectified that. My wife and I had also rented a 10-6 BicSport rated for ~220 lbs that we were thinking about buying, but after trying this NRS board on a calm lake, the NRS is vastly superior and my wife was much more comfortable and speedier on it. I'll update after I venture out on the river, but so far, we really like it and will be getting the 10-3 NRS for my wife. Fins were easy to install and board was easy to carry.

Awesome SUP

After renting NRS boards I finally bought this one for me, and it has been worth it. I used it in Naples FL and it worked very well. A little bulky, but sturdy and fun. I chose this size knowing it would be big. I have used it in Alaska once and it has done well. The best part is how it is inflatable, I have mailed it between 3 states and have not had a problem with airlines at all. I love this board!
