Nice jacket

I got this jacket to be a light spring and fall jacket to wear to work work and around town when I don't want to look like I am heading on a hike. Wanted something other than a puffy. This looks nice and fits well. No insulation but works well with a long sleeved shirt on this cool fall mornings. Overall size was right except for sleeves. I am 6'3" and need a 34-5 sleeve, I usually get a large but the size chart showed the large sleeve was only 33 so I got the XL which shows 34. The sleeves were plenty long and suspect longer than listed for both large and XL. Fit is still ok though, it's large enough to comfortably fit a long sleeve dress shirt under.

Almost too NICE!

Bought this for working outside when it's a bit chilly. However, it's almost too nice! Don't want to get this jacket all dirty and messed up from working in the yard! I'm sure when the newness wears off, I will, and it'll stand up to everything I can throw at it, and if it doesn't than the infinite guarantee will kick in! Love OR, and love this jacket! It's nice to finally own a capable work jacket with some of the tech features you find in "performance" outerwear. I'm a big fan of the crossover between performance outerwear and workwear. Nice product, great company!!!

Excellent Fit and Function. Working in the dirt attitude.

This has been my chilly and soggy (but not pouring, different jacket for that) mountain bike jacket for the past 2 months. Adds the layer of weather protection and warmth I need and breaths better than a waterproof jacket. Trim fit with enough space to layer what I need below. DWR or whatever treatment shrugs off light rain and mud nicely. Nice exterior and interior pockets for a phone and a snack. I have taken it for several rolls through the dirt and it has proven its toughness and quality of construction. 6' 1" and 165 lbs, medium jacket fits perfectly.

great looking softshell with technical chops to go with it.

I was surprised at how much I liked this jacket. I own a lot of OR jackets but this is my first "sleeper" piece that's still technical but under the radar. The material is comfortable and has a lot of stretch and it's more robust than the regular Ferrosi. I'll wear this all Fall long and will layer something under it in the winter like a down vest or refuge vest. The prologue line is legit and I'm glad they make these pieces. I haven't been able to test it yet in the northeast but it's coming. Winter is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed, bad fit, overpriced jacket.

The fit is slim fit, not regular. If you have broad shoulder and big arms, forget about this jacket or order a size up. Size feels small. My XL with a T-shirt barely fits me as I originally bought this jacket to wear an extra layer under. The fabric itself feels paper thin, not sure what it the use for it in an outdoor setup. It does not feels sturdy at all. The front zipper looks oversized in real, the website photos looks way better. IMHO, this is an overpriced jacket. Very disappointed right at the unpacking. Return for refund.

Durable, breathable and good looking!

Was looking for a soft shell jacket that didn't make me look like I just summited Rainer. This jacket is functional, durable and breathable all while looking good. Added bonus is the tasteful topo patterned liner in the front with an internal chest pocket with a phone pocket inside. The liner helps cut down on wind getting in. The rest of the stretch woven shell breathes very well, on par with my Ferrosi. The Saddle Heather color is very sharp and matches well with jeans, Carharts and my other hiking pants. Great job OR!

Great, versatile jacket!

The fabric is fantastic - good stretch, weight, and doesn't look overly 'techy' so it can be worn in many different ways. I really like the green color. I'm 6'0" and 170 lbs, and size medium fits great. Definitely a trim/active fit (in a good way) and it isn't too short like so many other similar jackets. I've been wearing this casually everywhere and imagine I will use it for business travel (whenever that happens again). The only thing I would change about this jacket, at least on the green version, is the lining of the front and especially the collar. For some reason they chose to make it brown...one of the reasons I love the green color is its versatility, so I wish the inside of the collar was green or at least a neutral gray, etc. It isn't enough to drop a star, and it may not bother others, but it does stick out to me.

Versatile

This is a sharp looking jacket. The large front pockets give it a kind of Western vib,e like a techie jean jacket, but it's a fully functional soft shell that would work fine for athletic wear. The fabric is a lite soft shell that seems soft and breathable,, yet durable. There is a nylon lining in the front of the jacket with makes it more wind resistant, but also stiffer and less breathable. This liner also facilitates having an internal pocket, so it's a tradeoff, but I would probably have preferred it to be left off. The fit is trim and the jacket fits well except the sleeves are a bit long. I just rolled the cuff up once, which works okay, but I think a shorter sleeve would have made more sense on a casual jacket with snap cuffs. All in all a very versatile and well made jacket that could have been a five with a few subtle changes.

Looking for a lightweight jacket, this is it

I use this jacket a light field jacket for those early morning hikes or hanging out around the campfire. The jacket is lightweight, with nice moto sleeves and zippered pockets which is great for protecting your valuable items when hiking or other activities. The jacket sheds water which is a bonus for those of us that live in wet climates. A wonderful collar helps keep the wind out on those blustery days. Overall, this is a marvelous jacket.

I would buy and recommend this Jacket to co-workers

Just used for one day as it has been hot in Seattle (and lots of smoke). Fit is nice, texture feels very sturdy, and best of all color is exactly as listed (to include online photo of jacket). I am getting ready to use this jacket to work as my daily work jacket since I work in Seattle and fall is on its way. I would have loved to have written a review on mist/rain protection. Again, size is true to prior OR purchase in Large.
