Thin to win.
Thin, light, breathable, and extremely comfortable. I use these for summer nights on the back porch, hitting the gym, morning runs with the dogs and watching GOT on the couch with the spouse. They are a great all season pant for warm body people. I always run warm and these are perfect for me during spring and summer. I was comfortable in temps down to 45deg and high around 80deg just taking the dogs for a walk. They wash well and dry extremely quickly. One thing to note is there is very limited stretch. I love these for back and chest day at the gym but would avoid using these for leg day. Also the ankle doesn’t stretch very well so if you have large calves you won’t be able to get these up and over if you need to cool off a bit. I’m 6 foot 210 pounds and the large fits me perfectly.

adequate
I ordered these for their water repellency, and they are just as I wanted. I am finding though, with Patagonia, that while I like their mission of sustainability with recycled fabrics, their overall tailoring doesn't match the pricing. On these pants I find that the inseam travels around to the front below the knee(maybe because its articulated at the knee but I don't see it in other brands) , the knitted waistband is a simple roll over with a loose elastic inside that gets twisted. It just needs more structuring. I have a jacket, vest and these pants from this brand, and I have better made versions of each from other companies.

Great on trails and great for grocery store runs.

If you have thin to medium size legs these will prob accommodate. They stretch where you need it most. I’m 6 ft 190lbs and have longer legs. These did me just right. And hey the pockets are deep enough for a phone and the back pocket is zippered. These are more important design objectives than anything else for me. Thanks Patagonia for being mindful in your designs.

All-Arounder Pant

I’m 5’11” 156lbs and these are my favorite pants. I was into Prana Zions before their sizing got wacky for athletic builds and quality went downhill. These start put a tad tight on my calves, but then loosen up after a few days of wear and a wash. See “new” and “washed” pics. I climb in them, bike-commute in them, run in them, wear them casually, and throw a wool base layer under them for fall BWCA adventures. I thought I’d miss the stretch that I’m used to, but they are so dang comfortable and are perfectly thin—it’s like having a light jacket for yo bowlegs. The Basin Green is much darker than the online images.

love these

Bought my first pair on a whim from the store a week ago and I can’t stop wearing them. I’m 6’3” ~185lbs and I bought the Medium. I chose the medium because it fits more snugly around the calves and the cuffs stay up above my angles. If you want them to be looser and a little less for fitting Large would work well if you’re around my size. Anyways, they’re very comfortable for lounging or sleeping but also awesome for hiking or mountain biking. Got these things covered in rain and mud while on my mountain bike the other day and it all came right off with a towel after. I like them so much I just ordered the other two colors!

Comfortable, Cool, Not Ripstop

These pants are amazing. They fit perfectly, plenty of pocket space, and are perfectly cool and warm. The only problem I have, is that they are most definitely not ripstop. The material is incredibly thin, and as you would imagine from any thin material, it rips very easily. The description for the pants says it’s a jogger and it is made with ripstop, woven pattern technology. Well, after one spill in these things while jogging, they have proven to be just the opposite of that description. The knee scraped right off and I was left with a nice hole. Overall, these pants are amazing, but definitely not worth the price tag considering the durability and how thin it is.

3 season comfort

Lightweight and ergonomic fit. Really nice tailoring and comfort. I love the smolder blue color, but it does show stains very easily (cleans up with mild detergent, though). No insulation, so I wouldn't recommend for winter conditions w/o a base layer.

almost great pants...

I really like 90% of these pants, but the 10% I don't like renders them unusable for me. the small fit is good for me (5'5 and 130 lbs). the material is great. slim, stretchy, lightweight. I was really excited for these to be my hiking pants this summer. but... there is an inseam right behind my knee that is uncovered and rough enough that it scratches behind my knee. seems like an odd choice for pants meant to be moved in and i'm not sure why patagonia doesn't just throw a small bit of felt over it. as they are I can't even wear these walking around town without getting chafed, a hike would be unbearable.

Perfect fit-neither loose not tight

Size medium is perfect for a male roughly my size: 5’8” / 158#. I have a 33” waist but these should easily fit up to 35”. Length of 30” is perfect and would work for someone a few inches taller. Basically a windscreen fabric with no insulation. Effective under 40° and below. I used them this am at 28° for a run with low winds and they were perfect. They are great for hanging around the house even running errands. For anything else like travel I use a merino wool pant of similar design from the leading manufacturer. But they are 2x the price. At this top price point for a shell, the Terrebones are effective.

Great fitting, comfortable, lightweight

I'd seen some reviews where these pants were described as too small or tight in the crotch, but I found them super comfortable. They're well constructed, breathable, and move with you. I use them for running in cool to moderately cold temps, but also wore them for yoga. I am 6;, 1" and about 200 and a Large fits very good - not tight or too short in the seat area. They are pretty lightweight however, so running in temps below freezing could be chilly until you warm up. These were not too warm for yoga unless you're in a hot room. A little pricey like most things Patagonia but because they look to be well made, I could see using them for a long time.
