Great for the First Year or Two
The Good: I really like the overall design of these boots. The wide lace uppers accommodates my thick calves. They aren't really insulated but are fine for a short winter walk. The Bad: The heels have hollow cores, probably to reduce weight. This means that after the heals begin to wear that holes form at the heel, which causes water to leak into the boot. I also had rocks getting into the holes. I was able to fish out the rocks with tweezers and inject a urethane boot repair glue. This helped the boots last another year or so. However for the cost, the hollow heels means that they don't' stand up to years of wear. If it weren't for the design flaw of the hollow core heels, I would buy these boots again.
Airtight Rainboots
I bought these to use at a weekend concert in the pouring rain. They were very high quality, super comfortable, attractive, had great support and kept my feet warm and dry all weekend long. So glad I spent the extra money on these high quality boots. They were so worth it! I’ve had cheap rainboots before, and I would have been miserable in them.
Great Rain Boots
Great slip on Rain Boots, love the side loop handles, comfortable with or without socks, great knock around boots for when it is raining, keep my feet dry and warm.
Best boots for a messy job
I bought these when I had to do field work along the river this spring. I usually wear a 7 and a half (or 8 for boots) but they only had a 7 and they fit perfectly even with thick socks, so they do run a bit big. They have exceeded all my expectations! Surprisingly warm from the lining and they stay on my feet really well even when pulling them from pretty deep mud. Also, unexpectedly comfortable for rubber boots, they bend easily when walking even when they are worn for the first time. If these ones ever die (definitely not anytime soon), I'll likely buy another pair.
Reliably dry but feet get cold and lacing failed
These are good looking boots and were purchased for their fully waterproof capability. They functioned well in wet and muddy conditions. However, the grommets for the lace-up holes pulled out within 2-3 days and would not snap back into place. Although the remaining rubber holes did not tear, I will return them as defective. Also, these boots definitely do not keep your feet warm to their neg13F rating; I had really cold feet at +20F. While I liked how they kept my feet dry in really mucky situations, they fail in other areas.
PERECT WINTER BOOT
I've wanted bogs for a long time but never took the plunge because of how robust they are. I wanted something that was sleek and wouldn't make me look like I was wearing men's work boots. These are great! These are so comfy and almost look like ridding boots on. Also they have wonderful support! I've already tested them walking the creek with my pup and on a rainy camping trip. My feet stayed warm and dry.
Durable
I love these boots because they are a good fit and durable, lasting a year.
Buy these!
I love these! I have been looking for easy on and off rubber boots that won't hurt my feet after a day in the vineyard mud. We've had a few warm days that have mudded thing up and very good on that front, but the best part is how warm they are!! My snow boots are rated to -25F and my feet get cold in them. I have spent hours in the snow in these and my feet do not get cold at all! Plus they are super comfy to wear. I highly recommend.
Not as warm as bogs claims
They’re pretty, they’re comfortable, they’d be perfect except for the fact that my feet are like ice cubes in them, even while wearing wool socks. I’m pretty disappointed because they claim to to -13 degrees fahrenheit but this is absolutely not true. I can’t feel my feet in 40 degree weather with these guys on. Also they are scratch easily. I guess I didn’t think about that factor, that rubber surface can get scratched so effortlessly. I’ve only worn them a handful of times.
Dry in Style
This model of Bogs women's rain boot has kept my feet dry and warm. It's stylish appearance makes them look less like rain boots and more like the fashion attire.
