Amazing, versatile and lives up to the hype!
Couldn't be happier with my purchase. The thirty is the perfect size. Holds everything I need it to and is very comfortable and easy to manage carrying it places. I use many Yeti products for my outfitting business. This may be my favourite one.

Incredible at holding temperature
Did not know if the hopper would equal a solid-side cooler. It DOES. The ability to keep food cold for a trip to the cabin is amazing!

Yeti's Are Great
I recently bought the new Hopper 30. We already own a smaller hard sided Yeti. The hopper 30 is a terrific product. Three sets of handles, a heavy duty zipper and the leak proof interior are great for the beach or a trip to our country place. Yeti products hold the ice and cold extremely well. They look good, clean up well and are very sturdy. I am a Yeti fan for life.

Carry On Plane
I just did a 4 day cruise and 2 more days on the beach. I used it as my carry on and the airlines had no problem with the Hopper two 30. Than when I was on the cruise and at the beach I put all the beer and water in it. I actual had to wait to drink the water it was so cold. I also threw it around and did not notice a scuff on it. Lastly, I love the redesigned zipper. It is rare a review a product but this deserve 5 stars,

Grocery Store
We live a log drive from the Grocery store. We used to use an ice chest to keep things cold on the way home. Now we fill up the Hopper 30 at the grocery store and use it as a carry bag instead of a bulky Ice chest.

The description says tapered design promotes more cooling power. The insulation thickness is the same as the original in the specs. The two looks like it is the same as the original with exception of zipper placement and longer zipper. correct?
In addition to the zipper location moving to the side, this newer model tapers towards the top. The previous design did not taper but had a flat top with the zipper centered in this location.
