Rated 1 out of 5 by from VERY disappointing kayak This is a great looking kayak with a comfortable seat. That's about all it's got going for it. I have been paddling for over 40 years and have owned and paddled nearly every type of kayak and canoe made. I went in knowing that a wider fishing kayak wouldn't be fast. Well, the C135 is even slower than I thought it would be. The C135 flexed noticeably when standing or paddling even though I only weigh 180 lbs. The C135 snaked and didn't track very well. The second you stop paddling it spins right around tail first very fast. I even tried the seat in different positions to try to change the trim but it didn't change how poorly this kayak paddles. I love Eddyline's Carribean line and sea kayaks but this kayak is an overpriced epic fail for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best paddling FISHING kayak on the market Compared to other stand-up fishing kayaks (Native Slayer, FeelFree Lure, etc) this kayak is 25 pounds lighter, tracks better (not sure why another reviewer had trouble with this, but I never have, even with my 40 lb dog on the bow), is stiffer and far more efficient than any other kayak in its class. Try them back-to-back and you'll feel the difference in just a few strokes. Remember, when you're looking at kayaks to stand up and fish from, they are by definition going to be wide, which leads to more flex and slower paddling than other kayaks. If you're not standing up to fish, don't even try this kayak. Check out the Caribbean 14 instead. Epic fail? I strongly disagree. Eddyline hit the nail on the head with this kayak. There's a reason it won Best Boat and Best in Show at iCast 2015.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Kayak I bought this kayak one year ago and decided to wait until I had it some length of time before reviewing. I also have a Jackson Cuda LT that I love. This boat handles well and I find it fast for what it is. It tracks great and has excellent stability paddling and standing. I have upgraded it to basically be the Yak Attack model with floor mats, center rod holder, storage, Eddyline crate etc. I have had this boat in surf, big rivers, and multiple lakes. I also added an anchor system that lets me manipulate the direction of the kayak while fishing. This kayak does not turn when you stop rowing unless you are in windy conditions. It tracks very well and there is a reason it was kayak of the year. The seat is comfortable all day, and I have used it out of the boat on the beach while camping or taking a break. Great company and great feedback when I called with questions.
