Exactly what I needed, nothing I didn't want
I purchased the NRS 3.0 John Wetsuit about a year ago as my go-to attire when kayaking in cooler water temps. Has proved comfortable, effective, durable, and easy to put on/take off. I am 5'8'', 150, and purchased the large. Glad I did. The medium was just a little tight through the torso. The large is comfortable without being too roomy.
great fit
I'm 5'8" 155lbs and the medium fit perfectly. This is my first wetsuit and I'm surprised how comfortable it is even when bending or squatting. The zipper has a smooth flap inside for comfort and it's a 2way zipper which comes in handy when nature calls.
a must for the cold
Wore this in the frigid waters of Downeast Maine. No chaffing under the arms and fits real well. Bunches a little in the knees but nothing that impedes movement.

Superb product, perfect for North California coast
I purchased this wetsuit for my kayaking activities on the Northern California coast. It has performed excellently-- I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Good construction, a little big
Runs a bit big I think. I'm 5'10, 150lbs, so I went with the large, but the medium would probably be a better fit. Still works, just a little loose and actually a little taller than I need. Seems like good construction.
Amazing service-next day delivery
After waiting patiently three days for the Spring sale 3/15 (a Friday) I placed my order for the NRS John 3 Wetsuit early that morning. One week delevary sounded reasonable, yet here it is: the next morning, Saturday, at 11:00. Excellent 27 hour delivery! The wetsuit looks and fits well, but the water is too cold to try it out for another month here in Massachusetts.
High quality wetsuit but not for swimming
This is a very high quality wetsuit, but not designed for open water swimming. It would be excellent for paddling or other sports.
