Great for DH, overkill for trail riding
My son has a pair as he was complaining the POC VPD2.0 elbow pads were slipping on him while riding. So we gave these a shot and so glad we did. First, they don't slip while riding, which is great. They also breather better than the POC elbow pads. My son took a spill at Highland Park with these pads on (and the corresponding Raid Knee Pads) and came away unscathed. He said he really liked them so I'm getting a pair for myself. I would consider these great for aggressive or DH riding. If looking for something more trail oriented, try the Speed Elbow pads.
Wear on every MTB ride.
I wear these on every single MTB ride I do. Caught a tree in Sedona with my bars and this pad helped things turn out OK. Cannot recommend enough.
No Slip.
No impact yet. Comfortable and stay in place. I forget that they are on, which is exactly what I want. If you are tired of adjusting your elbow pads that keep slipping after every bump, then you should upgrade to these.
The way to go!
Great fit, no pad wandering. They stay put and very comfortable.
