Great support and stays in place
Bought this for more active swimming in Hawaii and it held up super well even in rougher waves. No risk of sideboob or spillage. Really comfortable to wear all day. Support similar to a lighter sports bra you'd wear to yoga. The straps aren't adjustable, which wasn't a problem for me, but I could see this being an issue for other folks. For reference, I'm 5'9" and a 34B. I thought the XS would be too tight but it's perfect for me!
Fits well
I got the moss rainbow color (to match a pair of moss green bottoms from carve designs). It fits well and I like that there is cup padding. I swam in it today in the ocean and it felt great knowing nothing was going to come untied etc. I like that is more of a athletic look in the back. I’m 34B and I ordered a small; it fits fine and I think a M would have been fine too. Tough to know because the straps aren’t adjustable. 4 stars because I personally wish it had a little more front coverage. If you like having a top swim suit that you know won’t move and is comfy/cute, this one is great
Holds You Tight
Great for active swimming, diving, etc. They hold like a sports bra and are very comfortable (no digging straps). The material is great quality, I have used it in salt water & pools. No fading as of yet (after 4 months of heavy use).
Flattering and Comfortable Top
Really like the way I look in the Carve Designs Stinson top! The Perlita is my favorite, I also bought in two other colors. I am 5' 7", 134 lbs, slender with a smallish bust line - C cup, broad shoulders and broad back. I usually wear a small, but found in Carve Designs I always wear a medium. So, true to size for CD, however runs small compared to other brands.
Cute but not for busty ladies
Got this to match the Lorenzo shorts and I like to fabric and color, but it's just not supportive enough. If it was designed with adjustable straps, it would be so much better. I'm 5'5" 130lbs and 32-34D so ordered the medium based on reviews. As with many suit tops that only run S/M/L, adjusting for cup size meant it wasn't support enough because it was a bit loose around the ribcage. This is probably a great suit for smaller breasted women.
Worked for about 5 minutes
I was so excited to find a bikini top that had a "sports bra" type of vibe. I got this bikini set, and the bottoms are perfect. Comfortable, don't move, perfect amount of coverage, etc. The top looked and felt fine when I put it on, and then a few minutes later the top began to bend out -- turning the top into an open ziplock bag for anyone to look into and see my nips. Well! Since the straps aren't adjustable, there was nothing I could do. I tried swimming in it and that's a disaster. I'm not sure how there are 5-star reviews on this -- maybe mine was defective...but when I went to return it in store, I looked at the same tops that were new and they had the same bend on the rack!!! I definitely got the right size too -- 32C/34B -- went with a small. An XS would have been extremely tight/revealing, and a medium would have been huge on me. I really wanted to love this top, but it just didn't work.
Very nice quality and fit
I got several of these suits for the beach and swimming bc I have two small kids and inevitably they pull on my tops. These have a really nice fit, super soft fabric. only wish that the straps were adjustable to have a more custom fit...
Fantastic versatile swimsuit
I really appreciate this design. I have a long narrow torso and it has always been difficult finding a proper fitting swimsuit especially one that meets my athletic needs. The top and bottom fit great. No blisters while wearing a pfd and paddling. I even wear it on trail runs when a swim is planned. The top offers me sufficient support to replace my sports bra. In addition, the suit also looks great. It is fun to have sports gear that is both practical and stylish. Furthermore I love that Carve has made efforts to reduce the environmental impact (ex: using recycled polyester in production).

I really love this top. I have been desperate to find a bikini top that didn't show side boob or risk falling off when diving, but which also didn't look like a sports bra. This cut is really flattering. I'm a 36C, thin build and tried the medium first, which was a little tight and felt like it was pulling up a bit at my rib cage. Exchanged for the large which is perfect. I worry that the straps are going to get stretched out from putting on and off throughout the season - wish they were adjustable. I haven't had a chance to try it while diving but it seems like it will stay put.
For smaller chests, or maybe size up...
This is a cute swimsuit top. Although I have an average bust (B), the straps dug into my skin and are not adjustable, so I'm returning it.
