EXCELENT FOR LITTLE KIDS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is of excellent quality, the wool is thick and very warm, we used it the last week of January in Hunter Mountain, NY with temperatures of 12.2 ° F as a down jacket and it worked very well. my 5-year-old daughter just needed to put on thermal clothes on her GIRL'S BENTON SPRINGS ™ II and on top of her GIRLS GOLD 550 TURBODOWN ™ HOODED DOWN JACKET and that was more than enough to be two hours out tubing in the snow. I bought the color PACIFIC RIM TWEED and we loved it, it is pastel color just for a girl. A detail that we liked a lot is that you can close your neck up and help you protect yourself from the cold air so it is not a problem if you do not wear a scarf.
Kind of Disappointed in the Print
I loved the print in the picture. When I opened up the one they sent me, it was like every head of every animal somehow was cut off. The placement of the pattern is just terrible. You can’t tell that they are actual animals because there isn’t a full animal anywhere on the jacket except for the sleeves. There is a wolf on each sleeve-that’s it. Other than that, the quality of the jacket is good.
Daughter digging it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had my daughter pick this one out online. When it was received, funnily enough, she rejected it...didn't like the white (Hot Coral Floral Camo). Thought I'd need to send it back, but was thwarted by a studious wife who'd Sharpied her name on it...it was a school day. Since that day, as it is bitterly cold here for the past three weeks, she's worn it as her second layer, pretty much every day. Ah, the machinations of youth! The jacket is great, it fits well (she's a 4T) and provides ample warmth, both outdoors (2nd layer) and as a lounger. If you are looking for a rather nice fleece for a young one, this is a really good choice. I have nothing but praise for the jacket, other than I would have preferred she'd chosen the Violet Haze Critters.
Warm and cozy without a hood
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter does not like hoods so many coats and sweatshirts are tough for her. I just bought her the Emerald Mod Lace in XS because she outgrew the XXS Paisley Purple Flowers one she has. She's a petite 7 year old who is mostly in size 6 clothing so the XS is perfect. She wore the XXS when she was in size 5T/4/5 clothing and she wore it A TON - to school, on vacations, etc. It has held up incredibly well showing very little dirt and wear, so it was a no brainer to get the next size up. It's a thicker fleece so it's really warm and the high collar keeps her neck warm. It's serving as a perfect coat these fall mornings when it's upper 30 degrees/low 40 degrees. Both colors have been beautiful and the patterns are subtle so they match a lot of clothes nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this fleece jacket for my granddaughter. It was a huge hit with the soon to be 4 year old, She loves it. I usually purchase a new fleece jacket yearly for each of my grandchildren to wear when they return back to school. Are entire family loves to wear the Columbia brand, Not only are they stylish and practical they can be washed and they hold up extremely well. I always recommend Columbia brand to my family and friends, I have also recommend Columbia to strangers when they complement on the jackets.
Daughter loves it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd Columbia fleece we've bought for our oldest daughter. The first we bought a size too large and rolled up the sleeves to get 2 seasons out of it (we'll actually get 3-4 as we handed it down to our youngest), hopefully we can do the same with this one. The stitching on this one is seems very durable, so should hold up as well, if not better, than her old one. The fleece also seems thicker and warmer. The problem is the dang kid wants to wear it everywhere in August!
Good car seat coat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my daughter for when she’s in a car seat (bulky coats are not safe). She loves it (especially the Emerald Mod Lace which “looks like something Elsa would wear”). Keeps her warm and the stand up collar stays clear of shoulder belts and long hair. The zip pockets are great for stashing a thin pair of gloves. Will probably reorder when she outgrows this. The sizing seems to match her Columbia rain jacket.
LOVE this jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for my 11 year old. Even though its still super hot outside, she picks this jacket to school daily, when its cold in class. It's so light and folds into her bag easily, yet warming. It fits her perfectly - the cut is so nice - not tight but not bulky. It is soft and the design is beautiful. Just a great purchase. I will definitely look into other designs as the style is perfect for us.
Perfect comfort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sweater is so plush and comfortable. My daughter absolutely loves it. It's her new favorite sweater. I brought her a size large. She uses it every day since we got it to keep away the chill in the air here in New York. The sweater/jacket has two exterior zipper pockets & two interior pockets. It's warm, great quality!!! The price was great too!!! You can't go wrong with Columbia!
Great light weight fleece
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This the 3 or 4 Columbia fleece I have bought for my kids. They always hold up and wash well so I can easily hand them down to the younger ones. My daughter loves the colors and pattern. This coat is perfect for spring and fall. Also warm enough for Running errands on some winter days, especially since it is light weight enough to buckle into a car seat.
