Not as good as a locking leash
Pros: - The swivel does its job - Length seems roughly appropriate, although the elastic stretches a bit with higher tool swings - Lightweight Cons: - Tool clippers are not locking. I had one pop off my tool during a critical solo. The wire part of the gate slipped out of the orange clipper. I couldn't easily reattach it so the tether dangled uselessly for the rest of the climb. - Aluminum clippers get chewed up fast - Elastic becomes a solid brick of ice in wet, melting ice conditions. - Tethers are generally really annoying and tangle around everything in sight. It's okay for what it is, but I replaced it with the new Black Diamond swivel tether with locking clippers.

Not very useful. I bought this thinking it would help make things easier to carry. It doesn't. Just save yourself the money.
