Everything you never knew you wanted
So I got this one afternoon while out shopping slightly intoxicated because it looked good at the time (I had every intention of eating it in the car.) I forgot about it, and later threw it in my backpack. Last weekend it popped up while I was making my morning coffee and OH MY GOD. Pop tarts can go jump off a cliff.. Toaster strudels can get their frosting in a bunch.. because this product is beyond delicious. I warmed it on the brim of my coffee cup, melting the inside of the waffle to later explode its cocoa-y magma in the vacuum that was my mouth. I wept sweet tears when my wafer feast was over. I regret nothing.

Great idea - but packaging is a problem
The stroopwafel are a great option for a quick snack and have enjoyed them in a number of different flavors. The problem is the packaging. Some of the product is perfect, other times a pack is opened and the stroopwafel is dried out and crumbles. they really need to work on quality control.

Really good and filling.

*[Function]: Great with death wish dark roast on Stanley french press. *[Nutrition]: basically none, I can't defend this choice with nutrition stats since this is junk food. *[Taste]: very good, I'll keep eating them. *[Ease of use]: Easy to heat up or eat out of package, not too crumbly or mushy. *[Waste]: Wrapper is nonburnable. So stuff it in your bag to compost later. *[Improvement]: Would love to see a ultralight coconut nutrition wafel. I like coconut products since they are good/best? weight/nutrition ratio. Would also be nice if wraper could be resealed and burned after empty.

Delicious!

We stopped into the store & picked these up as a road snack - 1 for each family member. Each of us tried a different flavor, and every one was delicious!!

Pro Tip

For best results take one half of the coconut and one half of the chocolate and eat together. This tastes like one of those coconut girlscout cookies! These are great for a hiking snack. I've purchased them a couple times now and keep them stocked and ready to throw in my bag. These stroopwafels will give you the extra energy needed to complete your journey.

Tasty but pricy

Tastes good but kind of expensive; I can find imported Dutch stroopwafels in my local grocery.

Great Stroopwafel for those with Digestive Issues.

I have IBS and Gastritis that has been almost crippling lately and I can eat these with no problems after I work out! The best snack I can boast I can have with no problems! I am ordering more to make sure I have onhand.

Delicious!!!

We love these. We found them at the Framingham, Mass. store. They come in different flavors. This one is gluten free which is a plus! They are great with coffee or hot chocolate. I was surprised to see REI carried them. Way to go REI!☺

Minimize Bonking

I use these fir linger bike rides when body needs some carbs, but NOT protein. Helps keep energy more stable, and has some electrolytes, but not really a lot. Similar to the Stinger wafer. Has different flavors.
