Sizing notes

Inseam varies depending on style. Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent pullover with one small exception Terrific pullover for activities and moisture wicking. Comfortable indoors and out - to a reasonable degree before additional layers are required for winter. The fit is somewhat athletic, which has a great feel, however the downside is that when you remove it overhead, it typically takes off any other layers you have on. That is - if you have a t-shirt underneath and you're in public - it's coming off, unless you carefully manage it. The pattern or material on the inside tends to be 'grippy' of other layers that you might be wearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hunter (Cusco) Orange The cusco orange is very close to hi-vis hunter orange. I plan on wearing this on fall hikes and as the fleece layer for upland hunting. I wear a 42-44 in a suit jacket and the Large fits great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent addition to my gear! Super comfy and warm pull over. I just can't get enough of this one. The sleeves are longer than most and that's is perfect cause I'm 6' 1" so I need that. No thumb holes like it's hooded brother but that's ok. It's a perfect length in the torso so it's not too long and not too short- Perfect! It's even warm with just a T'shirt but it's like anything else- you have to know how to use it. If it's cool outside then a T'shirt is good. If it's colder than a long sleeve or even my NF Gortex rain coat is awesome. For even colder I throw my thermoball on top and I'm roasting. It looks good and feels delicious! My new favorite piece of gear. I bought it to match up to my Borderless tights for winter trail running so I'll try to update this after a few cold runs. Need to figure out the layering first. I love it so much I also just bought one for my mom...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect midlayer I bought this R1 pullover before a winter trip to the central Ozarks of Arkansas along the BRT. I layered it over a lightweight base layer and wore it the entire trip. I slept in it and the half zip is great for venting. Happy i went with no hood. Also great for around town. Highly recommended for the warmth and breathability. Under a Atom LT jacket and shell it kept me warm and dry in 3*-27* dawn to dusk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't think I'd like it (but I do) I was reluctant to buy this but had read some good reviews at backpacking forums. So glad I did. My main concern was it was going to be too snug (I'm 5-10, 165 lbs, got the Medium size). It is a little tighter than I'm accustomed to, but I found it didn't hinder active movement and was comfortable. Also, I liked how I could layer it over a mid-weight Capilene, and even put a fleece (a 20-yr old Synchilla, size M - the new Synchillas are sized one size too large!) or size M Arcteryx down jacket over everything - all while not getting that restricted/bulky feeling. Good warmth to weight ratio (it uses a waffle pattern on the underside similar to the current Capilene mid-weights. Packs well too. This is just the ticket I needed for camping/hiking in cold weather or at altitude. Time will tell how well using it as a top layer with a pack on will fare - hope shoulder/belt/sternum straps don't abrade the top-side material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much improved over pocketless R1 Great heavy baselayer. Depending on the conditions, it is good by itself or paired with a shell to keep the wind off. If you do wear it under a shell, it makes the shell a lot more comfortable because he shell will not stick to you. Wore it ice climbing this weekend, and it was great for the 4 mi hike back to the car in 0F weather under my torrentshell, but everyone is different. It also makes a great sweater to wear around town. The chest pocket is great for keeping your keys in, or keeping camera batteries warm near your core. This is the second one I have bought!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable Fit I bought this as a Christmas gift and it did not disappoint. The recepient was a small but tall. It fit perfectly, including the sleeves which fit his long arms. Patagonia does not disappoint and the REI sale for the holiday really helped!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fleece I bought this fleece a little while ago on sale, and couldn't be happier. Its very comfy, while not being to big and baggy. For its weight it is very warm and the navy color looks great.
