The 1.8L Boiler Pot is the same size as 1.8L Pinnacle Dualist Pot but there are a couple differences between the pans. Boiler pot: aluminum lid with NO pour spout, cook surface is hard-anodized but doesn't look non-stick or like it can scratch off, finally, on the inside of pan there's a measurement guide. By contrast the Pinnacle Dualist Pot's lid is made of plastic and has a pour spout, cook surface is a "traditional" non-stick and there are no inside measuring guide markers. Hope this helps!
The first use of this pot was a 3-day backpacking trip in Colorado - it's the only piece of cookware I took and it was everything I needed. I cooked in it, I ate out of it, I used it to carry water, and it's feather light. Snap/locking handle is really effective in keeping lid on while packed, and for peace of mind while cooking. Highly recommend this for a solo trip.
After 45 days of cooking for 2 in Norway's wilderness, i can honestly say this is a great product. Lightweight, sturdy, big enough for most meals for 2, and good looking [it's important!].
Overall nice pot. Well constructed, lightweight, very sturdy handle...But... it's not 6 inches in height. There isn't 6 inches of measurements anywhere on this pot. It's 5 H x 5.5 W. Maybe I miss read, but I needed 6+ inches in height for a new home for my old Coleman 442 Peak 1 stove...my Optimus Polaris fits great! So I partnered those.
Nice pot. Well made, strong, lightweight. Nice size. Perfect for hot drink and chow. might be big for those obsessed with size for personal trips, but I wouldn't want anything smaller. Incredibly lightweight too. Just buy it. Fits my Whisperlite inside with room to spare.
I bought this a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised that it's bigger than I thought it would be. I can heat more water at a time and can cook a good sized pot of food.
Bought this the day before my trip as a last minute thing and I'm very pleased within. Worked very well for 2 people and super easy to pack. I could put my primus trail classic, msr 8 oz fuel can a lighter and my spork in it and tie it in its drawstring bag and it's good to go.
This pot is perfect for boiling water to make my coffee while backpacking or camping. It is big enough to make multiple cups of coffee and smalll enough to fit in my backpack. Great purchase and I would definitely buy this again if I ever need to.
Not titanium, but very light regardless. Easily holds 2 ramen (if not more) and you can fit your fuel, stove, etc. Lid fits great and the handle doesn't get hot, as long as you keep it up wind. But that's the same for all long handle pots. Would purchase again.
Got this to replace a similar but smaller pot. The handle/top system is pretty good. Cleans up pretty easily as long I stay attentive with stirring, On occasion I end up burning food, soaking and scrubbing it off is not that big of a deal.
